How to unlock the Enduring Spirit achievement in The Crew - Definitive Guide
This faction mission is located in Las Vegas and is unlocked at level 40. You do not need to win for the achievement, just completing the race is sufficient. The race starts in Las Vegas and takes you through various landmarks around the United States, lasting the whole race around 3.5hrs, the longest event in the game.

The race took me just under 3hrs 20mins, so it's not exactly 4hrs. Also, you don't need an advantage over the other cars, since you get the achievement whether you cross the finish line or not when the race ends.

What I did after two failed attempts was to start the race solo with no-one in my crew. Then when I reached checkpoint 114 I paused the game and clicked in the right thumb stick to bring up the crew players and invited friends into the crew, once someone had joined I resumed the race and the achievement popped on completion.

The faction mission Landmark Tour is located in Las Vegas and is a LVL 50 race that requires you to use a dirt "D" class vehicle. It is "an epic lap around the entire United States" and takes about 3:30 hours to complete. The game suggests a minimum vehicle level of 740, and scales to a maximum suggested vehicle level of 1280 (faction mission suggested vehicle levels, and AI opponents are scaled to your vehicle level).
There are two conditions for this achievement:
- complete the mission ("Finish in the top 3");
- be "in a crew" when you finish the race.
You don't have to win the race to "complete" the mission, but one person has to place in the top 3 positions at the end of the race to fulfill the mission objective. Everyone that participated in the mission will get the achievement when the mission is completed, even if the others don't make it across the finish line. But, if the AI takes the top 3 positions, the mission "fails" instantly, and no achievement(s).
You can get the achievement completing the mission solo as long as you have "in crew" status at the end of the race. The other crew members don't have to participate in the mission with you. If at the end of the mission you are not "in crew", for example you get kicked from the crew, or everyone else leaves the crew (including disconnecting), you won't get the achievement and will have to try over. Due to the lengthy duration of this mission, it is unlikely that you will be able to maintain "in a crew" status with a random crew joined via the "Look for Crew".
However, you can start the mission solo and play until you get towards the end of the race (like around the last checkpoint before the finish line), pause the race (start button), pull up your friends list (push on right stick) and invite them to your crew. As soon as a friend joins your crew you can un-pause the race and finish in the top 3 to get your achievement. You cannot turn on "Look for Crew" in a mission, and there won't be any randoms in your session once you start the mission.
Warning: when you start the mission with other players (i.e. not solo) you cannot pause the race, and you cannot use the Xbox Guide button. Pressing, or double-tapping the Xbox Guide button will remove you from the race and return you to free-roam without warning or confirmation. You will still be in the crew, but you will have to start the race over again.

Done it solo and had a friend to join me. Checked if he is actually in my crew, he was....finished 1st....achievement did not unlock....but shows in the game as done...also in the achievement board shows a 100% and locked....same for the achievement for 200 laps...
Any idea how to fix those 2 achievements?

@ DieNadel1 -- all you can do is wait. It is an Xbox One issue that will, eventually, rectify itself. I suspect it had to do with the rollout of the latest dashboard update. Others have been posting similar issues with other game achievements recently, so you are not alone. I am waiting on two achievements in Hitman myself.

This Race is going from Las Vegas in a big circle throughout all 5 states and back to Las Vegas. Once you have finished this route you unlocked 2 additional achievements naturally as well, which is a nice bonus.
Here are a couple of things to consider, if you are going for this achievement, which I came to realize after I finished it ;)
1) just ONE person out of the crew has to finish the race and everybody will get the achievement ( at least, that's what happened in my crew, but you should still drive or at least push some buttons, as you will get marked as absent and the game will disconnect otherwise ;) )
2) deactivate the controller vibration, as this will get annoying in a 3,5 hours race;)
3) under no circumstances press the former "select" or "home" button, as this will abort the mission
4) although it is not necessary, I would recommend to have a "DIRT" car above level 1250, as the AI opponents are between 1260 and 1280. furthermore you can finish the race at least 15 min faster than with a level 750 car.
5) it is a really, really exhausting exercise, but try to focus, switch fingers for hitting gas, stand up or enjoy the view. I did this achievement at the end of a work day and must confess, I almost fell asleep a couple of times, but it is a great feeling once you get it done :D
Good luck
The Road Trip achievement in The Crew worth 58 pointsDrive to all 5 regions in a Crew during one session (2-4 players).
The Highway One Plus achievement in The Crew worth 43 pointsDrive the length of Highway One while in a Crew (2-4 Players).

A couple more tips:
6) your controller batteries might run out. Be prepared and have new batteries or your charging cable nearby.
7) use the toilet before you begin :)

Faction mission AI opponents (and suggested vehicle levels) scale based on your vehicle level. Minimum suggested level for this race is 740, scaling up to a maximum of 1280 when your vehicle level is at 1299.

This Faction mission appears in Mountain States in Las Vegas. It is 3.5 hours long and one of your crew mates should come at least 3rd other wise you all will end up doing the whole race again and will not get trophy.
There are also two another trophies which will come while you are racing here:
Now, I am not 100% sure about Highway One Plus trophy, but I get both of these trophies while I was doing Landmark Tour race.

The Road Trip trophy in The Crew worth 38 pointsDrive to all 5 regions in a Crew during one session (2-4 players).
The Highway One Plus trophy in The Crew worth 30 pointsDrive the length of Highway One while in a Crew (2-4 players).
Now, I am not 100% sure about Highway One Plus trophy, but I get both of these trophies while I was doing Landmark Tour race.
This guide includes:
1) Mission Location
2) Basic Info
3) Connectivity Problem
4) Overcoming the Connectivity Issues
5) Notes
1) Mission Location; This mission can be found in Las Vegas and is unlocked at level 40.
2) Basic Info; The race will take around 3.5 hours to complete and has 116 checkpoints. It's a dirt spec race and the opponents have cars around 1250 although coming second in a 1200 car is no great challenge. You must come third to get the trophy.
3) Connectivity Problem; Ok so this happened to me so please send your sympathy cards to... Subliminal--Cuts, 185 Mare Cognitum, The Moon. So me and a friend were gunning for 1st and 2nd and 1.5 hours into the race it lagged out and booted him from the game. I continued to the finish and unfortunately it didn't pop for either of us. This can and jolly-well might happen to you!
4) Overcoming the Connectivity Issues; So if a player gets lagged out all is not lost, the player left in the game should get to checkpoint 114 and invite people into their crew, as soon as some join then you can go ahead and finish the race and get the trophy. Thanks to Forza Grifo over at TA for this feedback on who gets the trophy for this method; "Hi, only the person doing the race gets the achievement/trophy unfortunately. We tried to do it as a group but people kept getting disconnected. So it doesn't matter if you are in a crew at the start of the race only when you reach the end.
5) Notes;
-The players that join don't have to be in the race, just in your crew.
-If your 'crew' isn't around then you can simply invite randoms to your crew and try to get a couple in to make sure there's at least one left at the races end to net you the trophy.

This faction mission is located in Las Vegas and is unlocked at level 40. You will need a high level Dirt vehicle, preferable level 1000+ to have a competitive advantage over the A.I. drivers. The race starts in Las Vegas and takes you through various landmarks around the United States, lasting the whole race around 4hrs, the longest event in the game. You do not need to win the event, just finish.
