How to unlock the Indy Car Racer achievement in The Crew - Definitive Guide

This is a long achievement find the eagle speedrome below Chicago and start lapping this process took me 5 hours to complete, if you go into the map section of the game press left stick go over to awards go to collection then over midwest click on it go to the one saying about 200 laps around little eagle speedrome and you will see your percentage towards the award goal and the achievement. The process will be shoter if you choose a faster car than the 2011 mustang I did it in.

yes, go into drive hug, then awards. then zones and finally midwest, it tells you % comlpete

It took me only 2 hours with a Lvl 1299 Ford GT. The Achievement isnt running away, so i would recommend to play through the Story first and do it with a racecar.

Time is finite. Developers need to stop encouraging nonsense like this. I used to like to 100% a game, but you are wasting time just for an achievement (that doesn’t transfer to real life). It comes from lack of creativity of the devs.

To Complete this Achievement you need to Drive a total of 200 laps around the Little Eagle Speedrome This Is Just south of |Chicago

You Can see your % of completion by viewing the map Pressing your Bumper button 3 or Left Thumb stick, Then going to Awards Then Into Midwest. its the second one in the list, Indy Car Racer

Use The Fastest car you have it Took Us about an Hour And A Half See full guide and how to view % below

Best Thing Is You can do as much as you like as often as you like you dont have to do it in one sitting

do it with friends much more fun

If you do it with friends you can also draft each other and get a better than normal top speed on the straights which over 200 laps will make a difference

I'm sorry but you did not do this in an hour and a half as you say.

A lap of the Little Eagle Speedrome is just slightly under 3 miles. Therefore 200 laps is roughly 600 miles, meaning you would have to drive an average speed of 400mph to do this in an hour and a half. There is no car in the game (or on earth) capable of getting even close to this speed on an oval track.

Sorry but I hate it when people exaggerate to the point where they are basically lying and misleading people (as I read your guide and believed it might only take 90 minutes when in fact it was almost 4 hours).

The "Little Eagle Speedrome" can be found in the south-east of Chicago (near St. Lous). It's an oval race track and is marked on the map. You have to drive 200 complete laps on the race track (asphalt street) in the Speedrome. You should wait with this till later in the game when you have a fast car. The Koenigsegg Agera R is the fastest car in the game. In this video the full stock RUF CTR-3 (without any upgrades) was used, which is the second fastest car in the game. Each lap is 2,8 miles (4,5km) long and takes around 45 seconds. So if all goes perfectly this will take 2,5 - 3 hours to complete.
You can view your progress by opening the world map, then press the left stick and go to the "Awards" tab. Now choose "Zones" (in the Explore category) - "Midwest" - "Indy Car Racer" (second symbol in the first row).

Rather than using the fastest car, I'd use this to work on the Overclocker trophy with the car you're driving in the most.

The Little Eagle Speedrome is located just south of Chicago in the Midwest. The laps do not have to be in one sitting, and the whole process of 200 laps can take between 2-8hrs depending on the car you choose. It is recommended that you attempt this in a Circuit vehicle at level 1200+ to be able to run the laps in the fastest possible time.
