How to unlock the Top Dog achievement in The Crew - Definitive Guide

After some trouble finding PVP players to join (or struggling to get ahead due to level differences), me and a friend discovered that you can get this achievement while in a Private free-for-all race.

You only need one other player, the winner will bag the achievement.
There may be a delay of a minute or so before it unlocks.

I'm close to getting my 50th win in free-for-all PVP events and achievement never popped. Glitched for me...

There is nothing wrong with the other solution as it just states the thing that must be needed to do for this trophy to unlock.

But I just wanted to state out that it is fairly easy to do if you have upgraded your car to around car level 1200 (best would be 1299 obviously), to do so you need all the carparts to be platinum level wich can be obtained after reaching driver level 50.

Also if you only have one car which meets this requirement keep in mind that the pvp events will host the car spec that is common for the region that you are in. (Or mainly host that spec)

- Midwest > Street Spec
- East Coast > Dirt Spec
- The South > Performance Spec
- Mountain States > Raid Spec
- West Coast > Circuit Spec

You will unlock PvP events early in the game as you level up. Once unlocked, they will show as yellow icons on the map. Pick any event, select Play > Public > Free-For-All and go on to win the event. This should not be too difficult as not a lot of players are playing PvP events and so in most cases you will be racing just one opponent.
