The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes

When you complete the game by completing the "Think Like a Marine" trophy, you can simultaneously complete many related trophies with minimal replays.
By the end of the game you will automatically have a good relationship between Nick and Eric, Rachel will leave both of them. In the chapter "Alien Eternity" Jason will kill her. Eric will call for help.
You can also collect all the secrets to the maximum, except for the stake (see below) - it can be picked up in the second playthrough.

So, in this walkthrough you can get the following trophies:

- “Let me try too” (the most unpleasant trophy, because it contains unobvious consequences of the elections)

During the passage, I highly recommend doing a few things that will help save a lot of nerves and hours of replays.
1) In the "Rivers of Blood" chapter, playing as Jason, when he and Nick enter a room with a round hole in the middle full of bones - DO NOT examine the corpse of a woman with a stake on the left near the entrance. Just pass by, and if you still pressed inspect, then it’s better to replay the chapter. The fact is that if you examine it, a scene will automatically start and the choice to take the stake or not and you will have to take it by choosing “Mind”. But at the same time, you will not be able to receive the “Give me a try” prize, because... if Jason has a stake, then you will not be counted for Eric's use of the lamp on Joey and will have to additionally replay half of the game from this point.
2) For the same purpose, in the “Horror” chapter, playing as Salim, shoot at the lower creature, saving Rachel. Then she will save Eric with the lamp. They will infect her in any case.
3) In the "Hall" chapter, Eric will give Nick a UV lamp. Playing as Nick, we don’t go any further, we fail the QT, he uses the lamp and the trophy is yours.

- “My technician” - we don’t let Nick strangle Mervyn when he shuts his mouth (we fail the last QT), then we choose reason everywhere.
- “Hurray” - in Semper Fi we go to save Salim and fail QT. Nick and Eric are left alone on the lift.
- “Escape from Hell” - we replay from the chapter “Alien Eternity”, save Rachel (we agree to the cocoon), and bring her to the end of the game. Whether the other characters survive is irrelevant.
- “Till death do us part” - we replay from the chapter “Alien Eternity”, we run after Rachel. Later she will attack Eric and the trophy will drop.
- “Interference” - we replay from the chapter “Horror”, Salim saves Rachel, then when Rachel saves Eric and runs away, the vampire throws a spear at her - we fail QT and kill Rachel. Next, Eric doesn’t help Nick and blames him for Rachel’s death. In the Hall chapter, go ahead with Nick and perform QT. (details in the trophy description)


In the second complete replay, we definitely refuse help (!) in the Briefing chapter and do not save Mervyn (it’s easier to strangle him with Nick).
We take the stake and give it up (Jason will give it to Nick - this is important!).
We save the infected Clarissa and bring her to the others. You can leave it outside the door for now, so that later you can quickly knock out the “Full Access” trophy.
I also need to make sure that Eric and Salim don’t find out about Ultraviolet - for this I failed the QT with Salim when he ran up from the monster, and failed the QT for Nick when he and Salim were hunting the monster.
We also pick up a first aid kit for Nick (!).
We shoot with Salim at the top monster so as not to be wounded.
We leave Rachel in a cocoon, and in the last chapter we leave only Salim alive.
If everything is done correctly, the trophies “Gone into the Sunset”, “Lost in Time” (after the credits), “I Don’t Have Time to Bleed”, “The Way to a Man’s Heart” will appear - in the chapter Hall, playing as Nick we go further and perform QT. We kill Balata with a stake.

The rest of the trophies can be won easily, either by replaying individual chapters, or will drop out as you progress through the two above.

As of October 2022, the game has a buggy "Full Access" trophy.
If the trophy does not appear, you need to close the game, disconnect the Internet connection, and start the Horror chapter. The trophy should drop after killing Eric. Once the connection is restored, you may need to manually sync the trophy for it to appear in the list.
