How to unlock the Oorah achievement in The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes - Definitive Guide

Missable achievement - you have to fulfill several conditions
(If you do not want any spoilers stop reading here!)

Important information - Eric has to stay in good relationship with Nick, the relationship bar must be above the half (then their relationship is good).
Also I was told that being rejected by Rachel might help (As Rachel you should make choices that will make Rachel's relationship with 2 lovers worse)


1. Everyone needs to survive until they reach the chamber (All members regroup in small area with this strange antique musical instrument in the middle).

2. Rachel has to suicide herself in this chamber (detonate a grenade or shot by Jason).

3. Nick has to survive sequence of placing explosives (Just choose "Retreat" as the choice).

4. Jason has to go help Samil and they both have to die down there (You have to mess up all QTE minigames)

5. Nick and Eric will the only survivors and achievement will pop after they get out of the elevator.

A level relationship worked for me. There was one green one red keeping it at 50%. Eric had also given nick the wand at same stats.

There has to be more to it than this. Both are just having an argument in elevator, and played it to the end, surviving the night and no cheevo.

This is one of two trophies directly tied to the relationship level between Eric and Nick, and it can be a bit of a pain if you don't work on it early enough. First, the relationship level between Eric and Nick needs to be above 50% (you can check this by pressing the touch pad whenever you're playing as either character). As long as you have an overall positive relationship by the time you reach the star chamber, you should be OK. Next, you need to ensure that only Nick and Eric make it back to the elevator. For Rachel, don't try to take her to the cocoon to avoid her being cured of the parasite. For Salim and Jason, have Jason go to rescue Salim, and then fail every QTE. That should leave only Nick and Eric, and when they reach the elevator to escape, they'll have a conversation, earning you the trophy.

I will add that at the very beginning of the game you need to choose Eric to provide air support so that the relationship between Eric and Nick is positive.

I think that you can even kill Rachel with a spear in the temple, that is, fail the button so that the trampoline kills her. I don't think it will have any effect.

I'll add to the tip above.

1. Eric and Nick must be on good terms.
2. Everyone must survive until the chapter “Alien Eternity”.
3. I left Rachel alive, did not detonate the grenade and abandoned the cocoon, she escaped.
4. Nick must survive the installation of explosives. (Simply select the "Retreat" option.)
5. Jason has to go save Salim and they both have to die. (You must fail all qte.)

During the scene on the elevator I received a trophy, then there will be a scene where they climb on a rope and Rachel jumps out of the water and I received 2 trophies (Till death do us part.)

Sufficient relationship if between Eric and Nick:
+ Eric pointed the Ultraviolet lamp at the creature and saved Nick.
- Eric scolded Nick and Jason for wanting to take phosphorus grenades.

Well, also combined with “Till Death Do Us Part”

We remember that by the time of the conversation only “Eric” and “Nick” should remain alive.

A conversation is possible only if there is a good relationship between Eric and Nick. For a “good” relationship, at the beginning of the game it is enough to:
For Eric:
- request air support
- do not ban phosphorus grenades
- (optional) don't blame Nick for Rachel's death if she dies in the Horror chapter
For Nick:
- do not strangle Mervyn when providing assistance

As a result, they will have only one green arrow for Eric using the lamp to take Nick away from the undead in the Horror chapter and that’s enough.
It is advisable to merge Rachel in the Alien Eternity chapter, send Jason to Salim in the Semper Fi chapter and also merge both of them. Only Nick and Eric should get to the lift.
Can be combined with the UV trophy.

I’ll just add that Rachel can simply run away (not kill herself and refuse to get into the kokan) in this way the conversation will take place and you can get the “till death do us part” trophy.
