Three characters used the UV wand to attack the creatures

How to unlock the Let Me Have a Go! achievement in The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes - Definitive Guide

The following steps must occur for this trophy to unlock (make sure you keep the relationship between Eric and Nick positive throughout your playthrough):
  • Complete the steps required for Illuminating Evidence trophy_bronze.png , to ensure that Eric uses the wand. He'll also use the wand shortly after the autopsy, so between the two instances, that's Eric covered.
  • During the big battle with every character and the monsters in the catacombs, have Nick choose to use his crucifix against Balathu or Kurum, which will lead to Eric being attacked. Next, have Salim rescue Rachel when he has the option of attacking one of two monsters. Finally, have Rachel save Eric instead of running away.
  • At the end of the game, if their relationship is strong enough, Eric will give the UV wand to Nick when he goes to set the dynamite on the cocoons. During the first heartbeat QTE, fail on purpose, and choose to retreat. Successfully complete the next QTE, but fail the one after that, and Nick will use the UV wand, hopefully for the trophy.

100% verified.

To get this trophy, you need to have 9 points in the “ Ultraviolet ” tab (see below) + burn the monster with Nick in the final.

Eric must be on good terms with Nick until the end of the game, otherwise Eric will not give Nick the lamp.
At the beginning, we throw Nick behind Rachel (we need to pause). Throughout the game, do not give Rachel reasons for a relationship with Eric, do not flirt, admit that she already has someone.

For Eric, agree to air support and allow him to take grenades at the Briefing; these two points will not be a plus at first, but they will not be a minus either. As a result, you will have neither pros nor cons between Nick and Eric at first. The only plus will be in the mix when Nick is attacked by a monster and Eric saves him with a lamp (automatically), this is the only plus - the green arrow in their relationship, which will become the trigger for giving Nick the lamp.

1. Do not shoot at the soldier for Jason after the Briefing, so that Salim does not kill Eric later, when you ask him to surrender for Nick so that he can help Eric at the autopsy of the monster (by telling about ultraviolet light).
2. Study the monster under the car as Salim (clear the rubble), successfully complete the QTE to see how the light affects them.
3. For Nick, help Salim take down the monster.
4. Rachel choose to save Eric and grab the lamp. When he throws both of them, we choose the answer option - What was that?
5. Eric gives Nick a lamp. We choose to follow Nick to go deep into the cocoons and fail the first QTE (pulse), then we fail the QTE so that the monster attacks you and you use the lamp.

For a more visual picture, I am attaching a list of what should happen in the end:

Relationships tab:

Nick and Rachel (2):
Rachel decided to leave her relationship with Nick in the past.
Rachel told Nick that they needed to take a break from their relationship.

Eric and Nick (1):
Eric pointed an ultraviolet lamp at the creature and saved Nick.

Nick and Salim (3):
Nick treated Salim's wounds
Salim managed to hit the creature with a stake.
Nick agreed to team up with Salim.

Tab "Moral principles" according to the result (Ultraviolet) (9):

Salim learned that creatures are afraid of sunlight.
Nick and Salim killed one of the creatures together.
After meeting with Nick, Salim surrendered to the Americans.
Salim told Eric that the creature was afraid of sunlight.
Eric burned one of the creatures with an ultraviolet lamp during the dissection.
Eric burned Joey in the morning with a purple lamp when he rose from the dead.
Rachel saved Eric from the creatures using an ultraviolet lamp.
Eric removed the parasite from Rachel's body using an ultraviolet lamp.
Eric lent the ultraviolet lamp to Nick before he entered the cocoon room.

To get the trophy you need to complete all the kills in one playthrough!
Don't leave the game, don't close the game, I didn't even press pause.
You don’t have to start from the very beginning, I started from the chapter where Eric performs the autopsy.

The trophy is still buggy, I seemed to do everything the same way every time, but it only happened on the third try.

I had the last trophy, everyone survived until I received the trophy, while playing through the game I made decisions with my head everywhere. This gives 100% confidence that Eric and Nick will have a good relationship and he will give the UV lamp.

Do not pick up the metal crutch from the corpse in the hat, so as not to injure the rebel Joey. Otherwise, the burn from Eric's UV lamp will not be counted. I strongly recommend checking the ultraviolet tab according to the order in which achievements appear.

Text guide (ru), the only thing is that you cannot take a metal pin while playing as Jason.
During the passage, I boldly paused the game and even restarted the chapter, this did not affect the trophy in any way. Perhaps this problem has already been fixed by now.

I did it according to the list, but in the end Nick didn’t get the stick. Most likely you need a relationship with Eric from half. Accordingly, at the beginning, select support in the form of helicopters.

The key to this trophy is Eric and Nick's positive relationship. Only in this case, Nick will receive a UV lamp before planting the explosives and will be the third character to use the lamp. At the briefing, agree to air support and allow phosphorus ammunition to be taken. If during the game you received a red arrow in their relationship, restart the chapter.
For the rest, do as VARRVELL wrote and the trophy is yours! You have to play through the game almost completely to get this trophy.

It is absolutely not necessary to pull the parasite out of Rachel; you can easily blow her up with a phosphorus grenade and combine this trophy with the Ur trophies, where you need to keep Eric and Nick on good terms and the only survivors. To take phosphorus grenades without ruining their relationship, just don't approach them at the briefing.

It is not necessary that every item in the ultraviolet tab be completed (I did not complete three items, but the trophy fell out), do the rest as NickUSOFF wrote.

Have Eric autopsy and kill Joey :

First you need to make sure that Eric is alive and get him to perform an autopsy. to a dead creature. To do this, follow these steps:

- Cut the rope when Eric and Rachel fall. This will keep Eric and Rachel alive.
- During the Slayer chapter, successfully complete all QTEs as Salim to learn about the creatures and their weakness to sunlight. This will also cause Salim to kill one of the creatures with a pipe.
- In the "Truce" chapter, have Nick and Salim work together. Successfully complete all QTEs to sneak past and kill the creature.
- When Jason appears after Nick and Salim have killed the creature, tell Salim that Nick's friends won't harm him.

After the autopsy, Joey will appear at the temple. After Joey and Jason's fight, Eric runs out and uses his wand on Joey for his first use of the wand.

Have Salim save Rachel and Rachel save Eric :

During the Terror chapter, the temple will be raided by tons of creatures at once. After escaping into the catacombs, the group will stand up and fend off the creatures. In this sequence, we choose the crucifix for Nick when he sees Kurum or Balata. Eric will run to him to save him, but will be caught by the vampire instead.

Then have Salim shoot the creature that is attacking Rachel rather than the one attacking him. This will save Rachel and give her the opportunity to escape or save Eric. Select the option to save Eric and she will take the UV wand for use number two.

Fail a QTE as Nick :

Towards the end of the story, Nick will receive a UV wand from Eric before heading off to plant the explosives. Fail the QTE as Nick when planting the explosives and choose the "Retreat" option. This will lead to an attack. We press the first QTE, and fail the second. This will force Nick to use the UV wand for use number three.

In the cocoon room, conditions change slightly if Nick is injured. Therefore, it is easier for Salim, when he looks through binoculars, not to look at the creatures hatching from the cocoons, so as not to give Nick a hint where to go. Then Nick will have a choice:
1. Select left.
2. We fail the QTE pulse (we stirred up a hornet's nest).
3. Choose a retreat.
4. One creature chased after Nick. We successfully complete the first QTE and fail the second.
Nick takes out a lamp and burns the creature.
The trophy will not be given, even if all three used the lamp. It is necessary that each item in the ultraviolet tab be completed as described in the tips above. Those. Jason cannot pick up a stake from a corpse, otherwise it will not be counted that Eric burned Joey with ultraviolet light (although Eric will shine the light on him and he will ignite).

Important Rachel, Nick and Eric survive until the episode Hall.
To complete the achievement, the following actions are required in the Ultraviolet section:
1. Salim learned that creatures are afraid of sunlight
2. Nick and Salim killed one of the creatures together
3. Eric burned one of the creatures during an autopsy.
4. Eric burned Joey when he came back from the dead (episode Signal)! (1)
5. Rachel saved Eric from the creatures using a lamp. Salim shoots at the lower vampire and allows himself to be wounded (episode hall of sacrifice)! (2)
6. After the sacrifice hall, Rachel leaves Nick and Eric, which allows them to maintain a neutral relationship.
7. In the episode, Eric gives the lamp to Nick. Next are the following steps:
- Salim doesn't light the way for Nick
- Nick goes left
- performs the first qte for pulse and fails the second
- moves away
- completes the first qte and fails the second

I did everything as VARRVELL wrote except for the 5th point, I found a cocoon where a vampire hatches, went to the right, failed the pulse, chose to retreat, completed the first QTE, failed the second, received a trophy.
