How to unlock the Remember who's signing the checks achievement in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan - Definitive Guide

I got this one when playing on Curator's Cut. Not sure if it matters, but Brad was left on the Duke of Milan. Once on the ship, you will be given control of Julia. After following the kidnappers and being shut in the room, the group discusses getting off the ship. Conrad mentions he was beat up pretty bad and doesn't know how much he has in him. Choosing a STERN response from Julia unlocks her spoilt trait.

So same situation for me (Curator's Cut, Brad still on the Duke, Conrad with the group) but when Alex suggests escaping, Conrad was all for it rather than saying he was beat up so I didn't get the option to be stern there. Rather, like FlollyLF above, I was able to unlock the achievement by choosing the resentful response to Alex about busting open the vent.

I'm guessing that some prior choice effects how Conrad reacts to Alex talking about escaping.

Got it during all heart curator's run. Triggered in an early ship scene where the group sees the baddies leave distributor cap in the open. Julia told Fliss to go down for the distributor cap

Once you are locked in the room and can walk around as Julia move the desk and Alex will try and open the vent.

Wait until he says (come take a look) and talk to him you will then be given a dialogue option choose RESENTFUL

Cannot be earned in Theatrical Cut.

Chapters: between The Duke and Trapped.
 
You can get this trophy almost automatically when doing the Curator's cut All Head run. The brain decisions will take you straight to this trophy without trying it. Just to be sure, if you have more than one brain decision, to choose the one that will go against Julia.

Got it in the director's cut when Junior points a gun at them and asks about the fog. Selected response options “pressure” (order to put away the gun)

This trophy can be obtained much earlier. Personally, I took it in the chapter "Abandoned Ship", also in the Curator's Cut version.
When, after the storm, you first get on the ship and all the heroes are locked in the cabin and you find a grate there that needs to be knocked out, Alex will ask if he should do this, select the answer from Julia -> “Resentment”.

Got it by doing things in conjunction with a movie party (in Curator Cut mode) and following the call of my heart. The trophy was given out at the end of the "Escape" chapter.
