How to unlock the Should Have Called 555-2368… achievement in The Darkness II - Definitive Guide
*SPOILER ALERT*
At the end of the game, you will come across a Hell Beast, the final boss and a complete and total badass. He can be ridiculously hard to fight, as his knock-back attacks are rarely blockable and he spams enemies at you at every chance.
The easiest way to go about this achievement - and I mean ONE SHOT easy - is to play as Shoshanna (the Mossad lady) with the Arm of Darkness shotgun. Upgrade the shotgun as you play through to have the extra charges (6 instead of 4) and upgrade Gun Channelling to full. Then, when she is saying "Oh crap, a Hell Beast" (that's taken out of context, btw), fully charge your shotgun, throw on Gun Channelling and one-shot that mother right in his glowing eye.
Easiest 60G (Ach's 'Should Have Called 555-2368...' and 'The Brotherhood Crumbles') you'll ever come across. Enjoy!

Negative voter, Y U no tell me Y U no like my solution? If it doesn't work or has been patched out or something, telling the wider community is better than just down-voting.

Thanks. Shoshanna was the girl to go. With here short invincibility shield this fight was a piece of cake. :)

Obviously there is a brilliant soloution at the top, but if you really don't feel like using the girl, it's pretty straight forward. Using any character make sure you grab the model 18 rifle (the one that looks suspiciously like a winchester repeater) just before the battle, get in the corner behind the stone pillar, (you'll be using that for cover against his vicious beam attack) pop out and unload your rifle to him, use your secondary weapons for the smaller beasties, use cover for the beam and rinse and repeat :) simple

Well thankyou very much, glad to be of service, and yes I started to carry it around with me at every possible chance as its a 1 hit kill for most enemies and a handy tool for all the boss battles.

"Should Have Called 555-2368..."
"Survive the battle against the Hell Beast"
This is in the Vendetta campaign at the very end. He is a very difficult boss fight if you have no clue what's going on. The things to watch out for are the Darklings as they hurt upon contact and when the Hell Beast fires a red beam instead of a normal purple beam. Red beam drops your health to nothing. By this, I mean you might survive barely clinging to life, or you don't live. I played as Inugami and spammed his Dark Swarm, occasionally killing things with his blade to recharge and fired at the Hell Beasts "Eye". Difficulty doesn't matter and I recommend for less frustration to do this on Thug instead of Don unless you really want a challenge as if you die, you restart the entire fight.

I used Shoshanna As soon as the cut scene ends go to the corner to your right use the column for cover let the enemies that spawn come to you so that way you have health at your feet then just peek around shoot and get back to cover
Not a solution, but a video the achievement is referencing. From the original Ghostbusters movie. If you're not ready to believe me, check out the video for yourself. :)
