The Darkness

When visiting "Hell" for the second time, you will eventually meet up with your great-great-grandfather, and you have to get on a turret on a tank that he drives. During this tank ride you will need to shoot down 6 airplanes.

The tank ride is only a couple of minutes and there are roughly 10 or so planes you can shoot down. If you don't get it by the time you reach the bunker, then simply reload your last checkpoint.

It took me a couple tries, just keep your eyes peeled as some of them are hard to spot.

While progressing through and visiting the Hell for the second time you will get the opportunity to unlock this achievement while riding on tank. You have to take down 6 airplanes that fly above you.

I made this video quite a while ago, it's really short but you'll know what to expect and how to deal with it. Spoiler free, of course.

Tips :
- Don't let go off the trigger, you will need to hunt those planes and fend off the attackers in between;
- When shooting the planes, follow them with your reticule, even if you think they are too far away, you can get them ( look in the video );
- You can't reload the checkpoint and grind it - has to be done in one go;
- If you don't get the achievement while on the bridge, reload your checkpoint and simply try it again.

Heres a small trick to get a few planes before the tank ride
Before you go behind the large Tank/Train at the beginning of the level (to go to the village) you can cross the bridge to the fortress (where the tanktrain Hybrid is pointing) and get attacked by about three planes, one for every few steps across the bridge. These can be shot down by the darkness guns but it is quite difficult but with a little luck you can take down one or two Then proceed to the village making it slightly easier on the tank ride.
