Fixed as of April 14th update. 
*If you had all the books pre-patch, start up Case 2 after downloading the update and talk to the Librarian to re-obtain the first books.
Case 2: Tome Alone.
1. First Floor, Talk to Librarian, Ask "What books did Dooley borrow?" and "What's that you're reading?"
2. Second Floor, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Click on both shelves until the titles loop.
3. Second Floor, Children, Click on both shelves until the titles loop.
4. Third Floor, Hobby, Click on both shelves until the titles loop.
5. Third Floor, Reading Room, Raxa's Books.
IMMEDIATELY after using the Viewmaster on the Box of Microfilm. DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE.
6. Third Floor, Hobby, Click on Right Shelf once.
Combine Button with Metal Strip to get Conductive Button, give to Gail to fix the elevator.
7. Fourth Floor, Book Cart.
8. Fourth Floor, Horror, Click on each set of letters until titles loop (9 shelves).
*K-L Shelf is only accessible if you go to the Fourth Floor as soon as the ghosts appear.
9. Inventory Item: Trashy Novel.
10. Inventory Item: Lovecraft Novel.
11. Fourth Floor, Secret Room, Ritual Book.
12. Fourth Floor, Secret Room, Click on both shelves until the titles loop (small shelf with skull on the left and bookcase on the right.)
13. (After dropping skull through vent) First Floor, Pile on Reception Desk.

There seem to be a few glitched achievements and achievements that unlock in the wrong order with the wrong achievement icons (compared to steam). I reached out to them on Twitter and sent them the issues I’ve had, having completed the game and not received 9 achievements, they have been super nice and say they’re looking into things.

Case 2
As Case 2 takes place in a library, there are a lot of books to read so I recommend just following my walkthrough for the case to make sure you get them all but if you're playing blind, here's a basic outline of things to remember.
- Just click bookshelves until the titles repeat, then you will know those books have all been read.
- Talk to the librarian at the beginning and ask her about Dooley's books. Also, look at the books
- Read all of the books on 2F and 3F before you view the microfilm in the viewmaster
- IMPORTANT!: Don't talk to Yeats or Crowley before you've read all of the horror books on 4F! (Don't forget the book cart as well)
- Once you've used the viewmaster on the microfilm but before you fix the elevator to get to 4F, look at the DIY books again just once for a new book
- You will get two books as inventory items. Look at them in your inventory before you use them.
If you've been looking at books as you go, you should unlock this when you look at the ritual book near the end of the chapter.
