Adding on to Lil Miss Cherry's solution:

First off, they're cumulative, you don't need 10 at once.
Secondly, if you're end game looking for Turnips and can't seem to find them in the breakable objects, the Cobra boss, the Beaver type boss, and the Toad boss drops turnips.

- The best way to obtain the achievement is finding a boss, using cobra poison item to kill it quickly, and after picking up the items, go out the boss door. When the game saves, go to the main menu, and then pick continue. You can kill the boss again, and it drops 1-2 turnips almost every time.

Additional information (Thanks to amenazamenor JF for this as well):

- Toad boss does drop turnips.
- 4 leaf clover isn't neccesary, bosses drop the same number of items, clover or not.

First you need to have lightning power equipped and meet the snake boss.

Jump high to make one of the two stalagmites falls onto the boss. Damage it with lightning power when it stunned.

It will drops lots of item when die, including deer heads (resurrection credits) and other items.

Exit the cave and wait for auto save completed, pause the game and return to menu screen.

Reload same game save, enter the cave and you'll find the boss returns.

Simple way to complete this. Find a boss room (i used the snake boss). Enter the room and defeat the boss. Exit the boss room after collecting the drops. Press select menu. On the main screen select to continue the save you just quit. Enter boss room again. Repeat untill you have a total of 10 turnips.

You can use this method to also unlock the following achievement:
