How to unlock the Train Rider achievement in The Deer God - Definitive Guide

This is largely up to the RNG. This area is not story based so there's no guarantee that it'll appear.

In the desert you might come up a dark brown rock cropping (read: tunnel) which will lead to an open area with railroad tracks. The train will appear from the left tunnel after a few seconds and travel right to the next tunnel. All you need to do is jump on the train as it goes by (either sit up top and hop down or sit in front of it and leap onto it) and ride it for a few seconds for the achievement.

Be careful! You can't go into the tunnel riding the train, you will die! My friend did that accidentally (she still got the achievement though!).

The train spawns in the desert section. You’ll know it’s coming because you’ll run along the tracks. Make sure to jump on top of it before it runs you over, as it will kill you in one shot.

The train is found in the desert location. Find the tracks and wait for the train, then double jump on top of it to avoid being squished. The achievement should unlock immediately. Don’t run into the tunnel, as that is an instant death.

If you see the rails, wait for the train. After patch 1.2, the trophy became almost a story trophy. You can only jump onto a high ledge from the roof of a carriage.
