How to unlock the Dry Hard achievement in The Disney Afternoon Collection - Definitive Guide

I found the Steel Beak to be infuriating until I employed a strategy of hoping up to the chandelier candle on the left and then just shooting rapidly. You should hit those little helicopter things before they even start attacking and get in a shots on the glass with the glowing orbs. After that portion of the fight its simply a matter of hanging on the lower chandelier and jumping down to pot shot him. He will throw a shield and run around but that is easily dodged.

Rather than me posting the same video six times. I figured with my newer version on all six Boss Rush runs video once here.

I will point out all the bosses you're likely to struggle against. I'll reveal my strategies making this easier for people to do.

DuckTales

Magica De Spell

She has a few attacks including sometimes suddenly drops down on you. Learn her attacks to know how to counter her better.

She can be a little tricky to hit either moving or quickly attacking while standing. It is possible to get more than one hit on her at a time.

Count Duckula

This depends on the bats themselves. Not too far from the ground, you'll quickly hop from them to the boss. Keep in mind, you won't have long to do this.

Chip & Dale

Green Grouper

This boss will constantly throw out projectiles. It is possible to dodge some of those at times. Don't count on doing that though.

You could throw the ball up to maybe hit him twice. I find it easier to throw the ball to either side left or right while Green Grouper more in the middle.

You are more likely to score two hits with this method. Plus every time he gets hit stops his projectiles making it a bit easier.

Caterpillar

This is somewhat an annoying boss fight. When you hit him with the ball. He will split up into a few pieces.

You'll need to quick move in between on the open spaces of those. Which allows you to remain still while not taking any damage.

Fat Cat

Around four hits taken, he will speed up his only attack. Thus making forcing you to work faster. It is possible to dodge his attacks if you pay attention.

Talespin

Wrecking Ball

This boss is mostly lucky in my opinion. You have to avoid a wrecking ball while he's firing out a lot of projectiles.

My best advice is keep firing & do your best to avoid as many projectiles as you can. Other than that, hope for the best.

Mining Machine

Mining Machine is one of my least favorite bosses in this compilation. You have a handful of angles to hit the boss.

Sadly most of those angles leaves you open to get attacked. I also recommend to constantly fire. Trust me, the faster you fire at em the better your chances will be.

Don Karnage & Iron Vulture

I have to talk about both final bosses here. Don Karnage is constantly firing homing shots while circling around.

Sometimes it's difficult to land shots due to how he moves during the boss fight. Iron Vulture is mostly not too bad in comparison.

You actually have to keep an eye out for a few things. It is easy to not buy attention & die here. Thankfully, you will get health here.

Darkwing Duck

Bushroot

Bushroot is annoying because not long after being shot at. He will command part of a plant arm to throw projectiles at you.

Sometimes it could be very close to you with no time to dodge. At some angles those arms won't change much.

Moliarty

Moliarty can be annoying because you have to pay attention to three machines during the boss fight. You can break those machines.

The problem is how Moliarty jumps up will give you little to no time to avoid. Not only that, you still need to watch out for more fire or his projectile.

Which will only be used when he leaves that section of the stage. This is mostly stay on top of projectiles.

Steel Beak

This is broken up into two phase. The first phase will have enemies that spawns often. Quickly get high on those things close by em.

You actually can do a quick jump & fire strategy to own this phase quickly. The final phase is mostly the boss going to either side of the screen quickly.

His stolen paintings can block some of your shots. Otherwise just keep on firing while jumping to avoid him.

DuckTales 2

Sorcerer Duck

This boss loves to trick you going the wrong way. If you pay attention, you'll quickly figure out which spot he's actually going to.

He has one particular attack that can be a little tricky to avoid. Also you don't have long to hit em when given the chance.

Golem Duck

This is an unusual boss because you have to hit stones he knocks down at him first. Then quickly hop on his core a few times.

If you're lucky, you can do that a few times to damage him. I was lucky to have this happen in my new video.

D-1000

My least favorite boss of all here, D-1000 is very tricky to avoid as well as to hit. My strategy as stupid it may sound is wait for your chance to hop him.

Then try to constantly hop him. It is possible to defeat him before you lose. Just know some of his hit detection will throw you off a little bit.

Chip & Dale 2

Fat Cat Robot

Most bosses in Chip & Dale 2 aren't that hard. Some of them can take longer than you would expect.

Even Grimacing Gecko isn't that bad. But Fat Cat Robot can be tedious at times. You have these bombs that drops down.

You got to hit this robot just right before the bombs explode. Keep in mind, this boss takes ten hits.

Thankfully when you see him damage means you're half way through. He will get a little trickier as the boss fight goes.
