How to unlock the Golden Touch achievement in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition - Definitive Guide
As long as you pickup expensive items and sell them regularly during the game you should have no problem getting this, but it will take roughly 15-30 hours of looting with very few purchases in between.
A quick way to accumulate wealth is by making use of the Dawnstar Chest. It is located just to the left of the iron mine in the ground next to a few rocks and a tree. The chest is not visible, but a prompt to loot it pops up when you hover your cursor over it. Here is a video showing its location.
Make sure to empty the chest completely so it can refill which will occur every in game week. Somewhere between 2.5k-10k can be made from this chest depending on your level and speech skill each time you loot it.

Just to add there are multiple hidden chests dotted about the place. Here's a video showing where they are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnX7d7YJ_tE

I always find alchemy is a huge money maker, so keep that in mind and look up the most valuable potions to make, always collect ingredients from the land while walking (there is a lot of documentation about this online)

Wait.. using console commands won’t kill or penalise the achievement run?

This is SOLELY for the duplication glitch, as long as it is not patched!
To start out, make your way to Solstheim via fast travel or talking to the ship captain at Windhelm docks. He will ask for 500 gold unless you progressed in the story enough to get the random encounter for a quest that leads you here. Remember, if you don't want to walk to Windhelm, make your way to the carriage at whiterun stables and he'll take you for 50 gold.
Step 1. obtain an East Empire Pendant. Easiest place I found one was in Raven Rock Mine, there's a small jewel box just a little ways in.
Step 2. Do the duplicate glitch via mercenary (or however you can else you want to do it if possible) and get around 200 or so but keep one saved somewhere. NOTE: only dupe UP TO 100 at a time or there's a great chance your game will have tremendous lag or just freeze.
Last step. Talk to the general trader Fethis Alor in Raven Rock and ask about the pendants. He will buy these off of you for 500 gold each (or depending on barter perks maybe?) And the best part is, doing it this way doesn't make you wait 48 hours for him to have money again! That's right, he has unlimited money when he buys these pendants off you!
For this reason, I believe this is faster than duping other items, because it is not as time consuming while you wait for stores to restock gold, and these pendants are light so you can carry a lot.
If there are other npc's that want a specified item, you can try this with them too. I just found this one the easiest for me.
I have uploaded a video I did to show what I mean, or for those that prefer videos.
Hope this helps!

The video seems to no longer work, but yes boy this method still works,
I could advise not to try to drop more than 50 pieces at once while doing the duplication, but it totally works.

The way I achieved this was by just doing jobs for the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood.
They give you around 50-800 for the Thieves Guild and a 1,000 for the Dark Brotherhood.Plus if you haven’t gotten the achievement to restore the Thieves Guild this a great way to do this also.

I like the guide above but there is more than 1 hidden chest found throughout the game. I do not take any credit for this video. If you would like to see more I would highly recommend viewing twodynamics videos for more Skyrim information!
Each chest depends on your level so the higher level you are the more you can obtain from each chest!

The simplest method will take you 3-5 hours on average.
And so everything is point by point.
1) We marry Camila-Valeria (Sister of the Reverwood merchant).
2) After the wedding, there is an opportunity to find out about the profit in the shop; for one game day it gives 100 gold.
3) The house in which you live with your wife, go to bed for 24 hours. And then you take the money.
Ps They try to give her money, you can repeat it at least 10 times after she will give you 1000 gold.
PS2. The chest is updated every two weeks in Dawnstar. And sellers have gold every two days.
