The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

This guide is aimed at people at the very start of the game while/just after escaping Helgen, but can be done at any time.

In the torture room when escaping Helgen, pick the lock of the centre cage with the body in it and collect the Novice Robes/Hood from the wizard.

Smithed item: When you arrive at Riverwood after leaving the cave, on the left there will be a Blacksmith called Alvor. Ask him if he needs any help around the forge, and he will give you an objective to craft an Iron Dagger. Use his Forge to craft an Iron Dagger using the materials he gives you.

Potion: Slightly further on from the Blacksmith in Riverwood and on the right, there will be an Inn called the Sleeping Giant Inn. Behind the bar there will be a man called Orgnar, ask him if you can use the Alchemy table. He will give you Wheat and Blisterwort, which can be mixed to make a healing potion at the Alchemy table in the Inn.

Enchanted item: Finally, travel to Whiterun and enter Dragonsreach at the top of the town. Go up the steps and take a right to a wizardry room and buy the cheapest soul gem from the wizard called Farengar. Using the Arcane Enchanter in the room, dismantle the Novice Robes/Hood, and use the soul gem with any clothing to create an enchanted item.

You should now have the achievement!
