The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Power leveling is rather easy in this game once you know what your doing, there are several different skills that you can power level with relative ease. I don't own any video in this solution, they are just video representation of the guide.

First of all Sneak- Sneak is first on the list because it has a glitch in the opening sequence that allows you to achieve rank 100 in about 10-20 min. all you need to do is play out the opening scene till your running from Alduin through Helgen. Get to the point where you choose between Rolof(stormcloak) and the Imperial. Go with Rolof into the keep and grab an iron dagger off of the dead body there. Wait for the imperials to come after you and kill them. MAKE SURE you grab the key to the door in the room off the dead body but DONT unlock the gate. Rolof will then set up in a attack position next to the locked door go into sneak mode and begin to stab him in the back. it will take several stabs at first but get to level 2 by raising sneak and one handed then use the skill point you get on the first perk in the sneak tree. Now stabbing him in the back will level up sneak very fast. In about 15 minutes sneak will be at 100 and one handed at about 30. If you then legendary sneak and start over you can level infinitely doing this.

Faendel the Archer- Archery can be leveled early in the game as well on a much smaller scale. In the first town you reach Riverwood there is an archer name Faendel that asks you to help him win over a girl in the market by screwing over a guy named sven. He will ask you to give her a note from Sven. If you tell her its from Sven then Faendel will become available as a follower. Once he is your follower you can ask him to train you in Archery 5 times per level. Do the training and then ask him to trade a few things with you and take back your gold. Rinse and repeat every time you level up in the beginning till he cant teach you anymore(lvl50). You can use this method with Aela the Huntress in the Companions as well if your far enough into that storyline. She trains you till lvl75.

Note: The thief stone will give you a 20% boost to this skill and also if you sleep in an owned bed and get the well rested bonus you will get another 10% bonus to all skills for 8 hours.

Muffle- The first Spell trick on the list is for illusion. Early in the game you can get a spell called Muffle from Faarengar in Dragonsreach. All you need to do is cast it whenever and wherever you are. You can just sit in the corner and cast muffle for an hour if you please and it will raise your Illusion skill very Quick.

Note : Use the Mage Stone for a 20% boost to experience in magic and also sleep in an owned bed for a 10% boost to all skills. If you find your running out of Magicka and hate the waiting, just wait 1 hour and it will refill the bar. Rinse Repeat

Soul Trap- The next spell to talk about is for the conjuration skill. The soul trap spell is the easiest way to level your conjuration. Another spell that can be bought fairly early on from Faarengar in Dragonsreach. All you need to do is kill something in the wild and i mean anything. once it is dead just cast the soul trap spell on it over and over again until you get to your desired level in conjuration.

Lockpicking This is by far the most boring skill to level but a very effective one. The easiest way that i have found to level this is by going into a city at night and just picking the lock of everyone's house. This is made much easier if you have the skeleton key by completing the thieves guild and nightingale quests but either way lock picks are not that expensive.

Alteration The spell were gonna use for Alteration is the Candlelight spell. This spell can also be obtained from Faarengar in Dragonsreach. Just cast this as you walk around cities and even out in the wild to level alteration as you go. Very Simple to level 50 the find the Detect life spell

Restoration This skill has a lot of ways to level quickly and its an invaluable skill to have at 100 because well who doesn't need heals. By far the coolest way to level this is to buy the equilibrium spell and fast healing spell. cast equilibrium in one hand and a heal in the other. Equilibrium takes health away for magicka and the heal will do the exact opposite. Also going up the skill tree on restoration can even make it were you can go afk and not die. This method works till lvl75. At 75 just get the circle of protection spell from the Restoration mage in the college of Winterhold and continually cast it over and over again to power level the remaining 25 levels.

Pickpocket This will either be the easiest for you or the hardest based on how early you do it in the game. Get thrown into jail in Riften (It has to be RIFTEN). Once in jail you will lockpick your way out of your cell and kill the guards in the prison. On the top floor of the prison across from your cell you will see a prisoner standing at his door just go into sneak and pickpocket him (if you fail it doesnt matter just try again). All you have to do is steal all of his inventory and then put it back on him and rinse and repeat.

Note: Use the thief stone for a 20% boost as well as sleeping in an owned bed for the 10% well rested bonus. Also this is a great way to get the achievement for breaking out of jail.

Smithing The easiest way to raise this skill is to buy all the leather and leather strips from all the blacksmiths you see and make leather bracers. They cost 1 leather and 2 leather strips and are the most affective way to level up quick. you can also buy the iron and do iron daggers for 1iron ingot and 1 leather strip.


These are some of the ways that i know how to power level in this game. If you like the guide thanks and if not i don't really care i did it hoping it would help some pour soul stepping into the world of Tamriel for the first time. I want to state again that i dont own any of the content in the videos they are just ways for a visual learner to get the same out of the guide as a reader.


Fus Fei Yoh

You can find the Telekinesis spell in Redwater Den. If you have enough mana to cast it, it is the fastest way to level up possible (that i have found). Lift up an object with Telekinesis, then (while still holding it) fast travel as far as you can to the other side of the map. It should instantly max out your Alteration to 100 and level you up many times. It should still level you up multiple times until you hit max level. But, it's highly effective. You do need to collect the Secret of Arcana power from the Black Book 'Filament and Filigree' in the Dragonborn DLC.
From level 59, I went up 3 levels. It's waaaaaaay more from the beginning.

So...
1. Collect the Secret if Arcana power from the Filament and Filigree Black Book and the Telekinesis spell.
2. Equip the power and Telekinesis in your spells menu.
3. Press to activate your power and do the glitch from above.
4. Repeat
(Powers take 24 hours to be used again, I believe. So you may need to wait a little bit in-game with )

After the mission of helgen buy a horse out side whiterun and go next to whiterun walls where there is a big rock against the wall when there get off your horse and sneak behind it and turn up the difficulty to legendary and sneak attack the horse with an iron dagger and make sure not to kill the horse when the sneak skill is 100 turn it legendary and do it again it will take about 3 to 5 minutes to fully upgrade sneak I got to level 83 within an hour of doing this, hope this helps

Level 50 and beyond in 30 Steps.

Set game difficulty to Novice. Save often.

Always be on the lookout for the following Alchemy ingrediants from shop vendors and loot:
Abecean Longfin, Cyrodilic Spadetail, Salt Pile, Small Antlers, Small Pearl, Yellow Mountain Flower, Ancestor Moth Wing, Blue Butterfly Wing, Chaurus Hunter Antenae, Hagraven Claw, Snowberries, Spawn Ash, and Spriggan Sap.

This guide assumes you have created a character and completed the starting area and are level 1.

1. Exit cave
2. Go to standing stone, choose thief
3. Travel to Whiterun
4. Use carriage at Whiterun stables to travel to Rifton
5. Run to Redwater Den, northeast of Rifton
6. In Redwater Den, speak to the Dealer for a free sample of Redwater Skooma and use the
Redwater Skooma. Upon awakening pick up Telekinesis Book and learn Spell: Telekinesis.
Use Telekinesis on the cell key on the table right outside the cell. Use cell key or pick lock
to escape cell. Kill everyone and loot everything.
7. Fast travel back to Rifton.
8. In Rifton, sell most of your items. You will need a couple hundred gold a few items of
varying value left in your inventory.
9. SAVE GAME. While in Rifton, start pickpocketing a guard until you are caught then accept
the “go to jail” option.
10. SAVE GAME. In your cell there is a lockpick on the table and one in your inventory. Unlock
Cell.
11. SAVE GAME. You will need to kill all 3 guards. Sneak around and you will be able to find
weapons and a few pieces of armor for the fight. Save game after every kill. After your
first kill loot their armor and equip. After all kills, loot the jail and find you inventory
items.
12. Find Prisoner Sibbi Black-Briar.


Use the infinite pickpocket loop to level pickpocketing to a min of 40. As you level
pickpocketing up spend points in the talent tree to increase your pickpocketing odds. Save
game here before leaving prison.
13. Use carriage to travel to Dawnstar.
14. Upon arrival in Dawnstar search behind you for caravanning merchant Ahkori. (If Ahkori is
not there proceed to step 15.)


Use the infinite gold loop with hidden Dawnstar chest. Find the hidden chest the save
game. Open chest look for any magical items for Alteration, Alchemy, and blacksmithing.
Take those. Then take all soul gems, especially filled grand. Take all blacksmith crafting
materials. Lastly take anything you want to sell, especially high value/low weight items.
Run back to Ahkori, sell her stuff until her gold runs out. SAVE/QUICKSAVE. Kill Ahkori,
reload and repeat. You need lots of soul gems for enchanting and at least 3000 gold for
Alchemy training later.
15. If you did not get an Alchemy magical item from the Dawnstar chest go to the Mortar and
Pestle in Dawnstar and talk to Frida. Buy any of the Alchemy ingredients listed above that
she has. Talk to her and get the quest “Dungeon Delving”. This quest requires you to
retrieve the Ring of Pure Mixtures.
16. Go to the Forsaken Cave and retrieve the Ring of Pure Mixtures.
17. Travel back to Dawnstar. Upon arrival in Dawnstar search behind you for caravanning
merchant Ahkori, if she is there follow step 14. If she is not there wait or fast travel
around the map and back to Dawnstar until she shows up.
18. In Dawnstar, go back to the Mortar and Pestle. SAVE GAME. Completing the quest returns
the Ring of Pure Mixtures to Frida. SAVE/QUICKSAVE. Pickpocket the Ring of Pure Mixtures
from Frida.
19. Travel to Whiterun.
20. In Whiterun, go to Arcadia’s Cauldron. Buy any of the Alchemy ingredients listed above
that Arcadia has. SAVE GAME.


Speak to Arcadia and have her train you in alchemy once. QUICKSAVE. Pickpocket your
money back and train again in Alchemy. After training 5 times level up and apply skill
points to your alchemy tree. Repeat this process until Alchemy is at least level 60. Your
pickpocket skill will continue to level as well an you can apply skill points to the
pickpocketing tree as well.
21. After you Alchemy skill is at least 60 or higher, leave Whiterun and travel back to the
standing stones. Choose Warrior.
22. Travel back to Whiterun.
23. Use the smelter and blacksmithing furnace right inside of Whiterun to make as many iron
daggers as you can with the materials you gathered from the Dawnstar chest.
24. Travel back to the standing stone. Choose Mage.
25. Travel back to Whiterun and go to Dragonsreach.

---At this point make sure you have at least enough ingredients to make 5 or 6 fortify restoration potions and 1 fortify enchanting potion. I had this amount exactly from following the above steps. If you do not have the required ingredients you need to procure them before moving to the next step. Make sure you also have at least 5 filled grand soul gems and a ton of other filled soul gems. I had over 20 filled grand from the Dawnstar chest. Make sure you have a set of items dedicated for Alchemy Enchantments: Neck, Ring, Hands, Head. And 1 dedicated item for Alteration Enchantment: Head, Ring, Chest, Neck. You will have to have at least the Ring of Pure Mixtures and an Alteration magical item to disenchant.

26. In Dragonsreach go to the room with the Alchemy and Enchanting Tables. SAVE GAME.
27. Use the Enchanting table to level enchanting to 60 by disenchanting all magical items and
enchanting all the daggers you created and any other items you have. DO NOT USE YOUR
GRAND SOUL GEMS dedicated for your Alchemy and Alteration gear. As you level up
enchanting apply skill points to the enchanting tree.
28. After hitting level 60 in enchanting and applied the appropriate skill points you need to
craft your Fortify Alchemy Armor Set. Using your 5 saved Grand Soul Gems, craft 1 head,
neck, ring, and hand item with the Fortify Alchemy enchantment. Your enchanted items
should have a 20%+ bonus to fortify alchemy.
29. Equip your fortified alchemy gear. You are now ready to do the fortify restoration loop.
SAVE GAME.


Use the Alchemy table and craft ONE fortify restoration potion. Drink Potion. Check your
alchemy gear and make sure the Alchemy bonus has increased. Craft and drink another
fortify restoration potion. Check your gear again for Alchemy bonus increase. Repeat until
your Alchemy bonus is 10000%+. Craft a fortify enchanting potion and check its bonus, it
should be really high. Now use the enchanting table to enchant an item with fortify
Alteration. As long as your fortify Alteration enchantment gives your item over 100% cost
reduction of Alteration spells you are good to go. If it is not at least 100% reload you save
and start over. You may need another fortify restoration potion to do the trick.
30. Leave Dragonsreach. Equip your Alteration Item. All Alteration spells should cost 0
magicka to cast. See video. Infinite Alteration. Drop an item on the ground use Telekinesis
on the item. While holding the item in the air use fast travel to a distant location. Your
alteration skill will have leveled up significantly and you should have leveled up several
times. Repeat this step till you have your desired level.

Simple solution for once you have reached High Hrothgar. Simply bring a weak damaging knife (I used an Iron Dagger) and find a Greybeard sitting in prayer. Then turn up the difficulty to legendary and sneak up behind the Greybeard and attack him.
Due to the high difficulty and the weakness of the dagger, they will not attack you in retaliation whilst you are undetected. This will send you sneak up at a fast rate.

To further increase the rate you level up, you can use the muffle spell to increase your illusion skill as well.

The Greybeard will stand up eventually, but you will be able to keep going. That said though, they will turn around after a while, so be careful as this will cause them to attack you, so regular quicksaves are recomended just in case.

Beyond that, Just keep going until your sneak reaches Lvl 100, at which point make your sneak legendary. Rinse and repeat until you hit Lvl. 50
