How to unlock the Open Prison achievement in The Escapists 2 - Definitive Guide

No one has to join your game.

Simply load up any Classic Prison (there are 7) (Transport Prisons do not count), then press cn_start, then go to right side of screen and change game to public. Back out to the game and your achievement will unlock.

Classic Prisons are:

Centre Perks 2.0
Rattlesnake Springs
K.A.P.O.W. Camp
H.M.P. Offshore
Fort Tundra
Area 17
USS Anamoly

A lot easier than it sounds, you are able to unlock this trophy by simply selecting new game on a prison to play in the main menu, selecting a new save and setting the "playmode" for the prison (at the bottom right before you start it) to public (instead of local or private) and press play.

(If it doesn't unlock after doing that don't worry, since sometimes the trophies take a minute to register It "should" unlock if you back out and repeat the process, I didnt need anyone to join my game to unlock this trophy).

Hope this guide helps clear up any potential confusion you would have upon reading the trophies description (for those that may think "classic game online" is similar to play versus or something).

This trophy is extremely easy. Just find a friend or random player and enter an online verses match with them.

You do not need to escape the prison for this trophy, but simply just start an online game. Start a game in any classic prison. Transport prisons are not classic prisons, so they do not count for this. Once in the game access the menu screen and set your game type to public. The trophy should pop shortly afterwards.
