Great guide! Thats an upvote from me. Can you also include that the game allows you to load certain chapters in order to find any mutation you have missed after beating the game. As long as you mutate into it once in a game you can go on to the next mutation without worrying about it saving or losing it. The tracker still goes up if you get a mutation in chapter 3 and then load chapter 2 and get another mutation there.
I made sure to write down which mutations I was missing shortly before beating the game. This steam guide helps you find where each mutation can be located:

You don’t have to use all mutations in one playthrough but there’s no in-game progress bar so you’ll have to remember which ones you haven’t used. Many are missable although the Chapter (biome) select is useful if you know where you’re going after completing the game. For me, the last ones to get were irascible trunk, rattle trunk, blurred eyes.
You don’t have to unlock the perma-mutation for each one, just use it once.
