How to unlock the Premature Finale achievement in The Evil Within 2 - Definitive Guide

Premature Finale Achievement Guide

This boss fight is story related and can not be missed. When fighting Stefano Valentini it's best to keep moving and keep an eye on when he's about to take a picture so you can quickly get behind a wall. Good weapons to use are the Sniper Rifle, Sawed-Off Shotgun and the Semi-Automatic Handgun. In the second area you'll want to avoid the big yellow floating orbs since they explode if you get near them.

Just keep running and shooting and get out of sight when a photo is about to be taken and this will be no problem.

Hope this helped.

you need to kill Stefano. In principle, everything is quite simple, the main thing is not to rush. the battle consists of two parts: in the first part he ran in circles and shot only when he was about to take a photo, the second stage of the battle: he also ran in circles and shot only when he ran back to the right wall (if he was standing face to face) and was about to take a photo. Well, we hide from the “tentacles” behind the wall, which is a little to the right of the center of the hall. the eye emits a characteristic signal before impact.

ps on the machine in front of the theater make more cartridges and syringes (I spent about 30 shots from an unpumped pistol in nightmare mode)

If you are playing on nightmare difficulty, then to make it easier to defeat Stefano, I recommend using electric and crossbow mine bolts. Combat tactics: stay close to the corner, place mine-bolts on the floor, at a safe distance from you (it is advisable to pump them up). For example, an improved mine (200% damage) knocks the boss back to the second phase with 4 bolts. This will save ammunition, nerves and time. Moreover, if Stefano, for the most part, dodges shots from conventional weapons, then he is guaranteed to be blown up by a mine. The main thing is to learn how to place them correctly and lead the boss so that he walks through it.
In the second phase, also stay in the corner, use the remaining mines, and when they run out, switch to electric mines. Shoot them at your feet or nearby, and take out your shotgun, sniper rifle or harpoon. As soon as the boss gets close enough to you, the electric trap will work and immobilize him for 3-4 seconds and you will be able to fire 1 accurate and guaranteed shot at him.
Or an alternative tactic to fight him .

The combat is very easy on any difficulty. We stand in any corner of the room and wait for action from Stefano.
1. He’s coming at us - we start running back and after he hits, we fire a shotgun shot.
2. Throws a knife - we stand near the wall so that we can hide behind it, when Stefano is preparing to throw a knife - we wait until the last moment and at the last moment we hide behind the wall. After this, we quickly make a well-aimed sniper shot to the head.
3. Takes a photo - just run to the side, or shoot at him with a pistol/sniper rifle.
4. Ultimate (a lethal attack on the classic, if you have at least a little bit of full health), we run exactly to the side of Stefano running towards us - after which we fire a shotgun shot.
