How to unlock the DIY achievement in The Evil Within 2 - Definitive Guide

In Chapter 3, after meeting the first Mobius member, use the workbench and craft something. You can simply craft one Handgun bullet. You can also save beforehand if you want to save up parts for later use, get the achievement and then reload your save before you crafted an item.

For some reason this isn't unlocking for me, I'll try wiping all my data when I finish the game and report back

Weirdly after playing the game today it unlocked after crafting something again, the other achivements were still unlocking when I was having the issue.

TLDR I'd just say fully restart your console if you run into this issue.

Crafted the sniper rifle as my first item, no pop either. Such an easy chievo, odd the game cant register crafting your first item very well lol

Edit: After having another side mission chievo not pop for me, I exited the game and at dashboard before I could shut down xbox for a hard reboot, the chievo popped. Game was not even up. I hate buggy games and chievos.

This achievement can be obtained once you reach O’Neal’s safehouse in chapter 3. Go to the workbench and craft an item. You must craft at least one of every type of item in the game for the “Handyman” achievement.

See the “Handyman” achievement below for the list of items you must craft and the materials that are required for each item.
