How to unlock the ...And the Corpses Mount achievement in The Evil Within - Definitive Guide

This should be one of your first achievements, simply kill 30 enemies. The kills carry over even if you have die/reload checkpoints and end up killing the same enemies multiple times.

I'm not sure if reloading checkpoints actually count for kills also what actually constitutes a kill, beat downs, shots to the head and stealth kills witbout burning the bodies? Or do you have to burn the bodies for these to count properly? I have been running through chapter 2 at the beginning an almost none of these methods seem to be counting as I was looking to see what actually counted, I've tried many different variations of kills and burns , carefully counting each way and still have not unlocked one kill count type of an achievement except the one for 5 stealth kills in a row. Obviously something is a miss here.

I tried killing 5 on chapter 2 and then killing myself and starting again more than six times. This doesn't work

Bethesda have said that the "Number of enemies killed" stat is not relational to this achievement. Regardless you'll get this eventually, just don't use the Xbox One stat to gauge your progress.

Just as the description says, kill 30 Haunted. I wouldn't worry about this achievement. You will get it naturally if you are going for 100% because you will likely be playing 4-5 playthroughs and you will get this early during your first playthrough.
