This achievement should be unlocked over natural progression throughout the game. I personally unlocked it after the part in Chapter 12, where you operate the Jeep mounted machine gun. This section is also a great section to farm kills for the achievement. You get a checkpoint after retrieving the medicine from the ambulance. Then kill the machine gunner and take over the gun, once the enemies stop, do not get on the bus but rather reload the last checkpoint. Once you get enough kills the achievement will pop.

Is this glitchy? I am yet to win the achievement but my kill count on TA says 365.

I believe that it is a little glitchy/delayed I too received it after 200 kills. In the same manner I received my 25 stealth kills well after I had >50 stealth kills (as determined under the challenge menu). Just keep at it and it should come...

This obviously still isn't working. I've killed over 300 and nothing yet.

Same problem here. Not too sure if the kills have to go through a checkpoint in order to count. Trying to do the melee achievement too and reloading checkpoints seem to reset the counter to the previous spot before the first checkpoint. I could just be being impatient but my kills on the TA site are too, over 200.

Just as the description says, kill 200 Haunted. I wouldn't worry about this achievement. You will get it naturally if you are going for 100% because you will likely be playing 4-5 playthroughs.

You will have your normal playthrough to learn the ropes.

A 2nd playthrough to finish upgrading Sebastian and gather all the collectibles

A 3rd playthrough to beat in under 5 hours.

A 4th playthrough to beat it on Akumu(DO NOT try to stack achievements with this one, it isnt worth it. Just makes it more ridiculously harder than it is. Took me 40 mins alone to beat chapter 2, not counting all the times I died.)

Lastly a 5th to beat the game with no upgrades.

At that point you will likely have all the achievements done.
