The Falconeer

I got the achievement when i completed the 3rd mission chapter 4 ( MANCER -OBERON'S REACH ). Destroy 2 ships in the first section and the other on a little up ahead. Escort the ship and achievement unlocked.



There are many enemies but there is no need to kill them. Just focus on escorting the ship.

This is easily done as an add-on to a side mission instead of trying to hunt down three ships in a story mission.

I did it on chapter 3. I started a side mission, completed the objectives, and then when the "mission complete" message flashed up and the game instructed me to return to Shard, I headed over to Stargazer instead (which is automatically an enemy faction in this chapter).

Start shooting at the turrets on top of Stargazer and a ship, an airship, and two dragons will spawn. Take down the ship (and the rest of the enemies if they are too much bother - it wasn't too much of a problem on easy*), then head out of view of Stargazer, giving the enemies a chance to respawn, then head back. Rinse and repeat until you've shot down three ships, then head back to Shard to officially complete your side mission. The achievement should pop immediately!

(You can also use this method to earn the Steel Surgeon achievement, which I did at the same time).

*Although it was cloudy weather when I achieved it, YMMV).

This can be done in chapter one.

If you shoot a friendly, you'll become a pirate. The pirate home is atun's folly - here you can get a side quest to kill a target and return an item to the hidey hole - this will be the one with the fewest skulls (lowest difficulty) from the three on offer.

The target will be a ship - sometimes this ship has 2 other ships alongside it. Kill all three and complete the mission to unlock the achievement. If you kill all three and die you will need to restart the mission. Beware as you are a pirate you may get other enemies come and try to shoot you down. If you don't see three at the same time you may be able to fly around to find more ships. I destroyed 4 when I got the achievement.

The better the weapon, the better your chances. Good luck.
