You will get hundreds of weapon drops as you play through the game. To dismantle a weapon, go to the menu with 
and click on any weapon slot to bring up your weapon inventory. Press 
on any weapon you don't want, then hold to dismantle any that have been marked to dismantle them and get some crafting components in return.
