This has been confirmed to be the right spot by the developer and yet the achievement will not unlock.

Reinstalling the game and continuing my cloud save right on chapter 3 got it to work.

Last level to the right when on beach before passing final rock

I had to quit my game and reload the level and this popped.

Just for people who missed this: Doesn't take too long from the start of the game, my timestamps from finishing the game to starting anew and getting this was 12 mins difference. Dont need any stars just head to the end of the levels.
First level the exit is the top right (1 o clock) of level with a bit of climbing once you get to the main area.
Second level you need to grab the butterflies and head over the rocks. Carry on to the waterfall grab the 3 lots of butterflies then make the large jump and carry on.
3rd level take the left near the start where the stars are and head to the top left of level where the brambles are. The tree is just across from the brambles.

*MISSABLE*

This trophy can be obtained in chapter 3 and requires you to find your name carved in a tree. This particular tree can be found towards the end of the level next to one of the obsidian rocks you need to find for the The Way Forward trophy and close a wall of brambles. While standing on the obsidian rock facing in the opposite direction of the brambles and slightly to the left you’ll see a tree with your name carved on it. Move close to it so you can clearly read the name and the trophy will pop.

For this achievement you must find your name in the third level. It is engraved in a tree near the brambles at the beginning/end of the level. From the start of the level, walk straight ahead down the path until you come to a tree in the middle of a clearing. Walk around the back of it and look at the tree to see the engraving. The video guide below shows this being unlocked at the end of the level. It doesn't matter when you do it, as long as you do it before going through the opening in the brambles to end the level.
