How to unlock the Grave Robber achievement in The Forgotten City - Definitive Guide

A very easy way to do this is to go to Aurelia's room, above her tavern where you normally find her. She has a locked chest, and the key to it is on the table. Stealing the key will break the Golden Rule, then you can easily unlock the chest and steal the coins (there are more than 2,000) without worrying about dodging any statues trying to kill you.

This one is bugged, the achievement didn't unlock for me after meeting the conditions

For some reason this isn't unlocking. I tried alot of different ways too.

This ones really easy to get. Break the golden rule in any way (steal, kill) and then go into malleolus house, upstairs in the room on the second floor there is a chest with 2.3K in a chest next to malleolus's wife.
If youre doing this on a first playthrough youll need to get into malleolus's house by diving from above.

Kill Claudia and then immediately rob the chest in the room she is locked into. That has over 2000 coins so it'll immediately net the achievement.

There is only one place in the game where you can steal 2,000 denarii at once. This is Villa Malleola, on the second floor in the room where his wife sits there is a chest with 2,000+ denarii. The easiest way to get it is to go up to the second floor, scare Malleol’s wife by asking where the treasures are, thereby creating the “golden rule”, and then take the money from the chest.

Another similar amount can be found in Desius’s chest; the key to the chest can be taken on the top shelf of the cabinet opposite the entrance to his shop in the market (second to the left of the central arch of the city)

You can also steal the required amount from the chest in Aurelia’s chambers, the owners of the local tavern. In her room on the table there is a key that unlocks a nearby chest with 2400 denarii.
