How to unlock the Italian Plumber achievement in The Forgotten City - Definitive Guide

After you have obtained the Golden Bow, go to the lower cistern using the door under Malleolus' villa. Domitius is doing push ups near.

Once inside, follow the tunnels down. When you're in the cistern, walk straight ahead and take the first left. There's a big hole in the ceiling leading up. Shoot the plants/vines hanging from it. Once they've turned golden, use them to climb up. Along the way you have to shoot higher up vines again and make a small jump.

You do not get the achievement if you have entered the upper cistern another way before. According to RadiantCarcass in the comments, you have to enter the upper cistern via the lower cistern before you get the key to the upper cistern entrance.

i didnt get the achievement even tho i entered below with the bow. wack. might be glitched

Just got it. You need to do this BEFORE you get the key to the upper cistern. Tried with 2x playthroughs, 3rd playthrough popped the cheevo after I'd taken a few steps once I'd climbed up.

Can confirm this, couldn't get it when having key in inventory -> reloaded previous save without it and popped immediately.

If you missed this on your first playthrough, you can just start a new game, run straight to the lower cistern and use the No Clip cheat to fly up to the upper cistern.

Turn off the cheat when you get to the top and walk towards the prisoner and the achievement will pop.

Wait... It has to be before getting the key? You can't just get the key, then go there through the lower cistern (without going through the doors by the temple obviously)?

Yes , I am trying , but I only find an unfinished underworld where the prisoner is floating in an empty cave , and no possible way to talk with her without falling and dying. That part after the lower cistern door is not loaded into the world yet for some reason.

Nevermind …. I used the no clipping cheat BEFORE i entered (and loaded) the tunnels.
Just go through the doors the normal way with A , after that the world behind the doors load up normally.

You need to get into the upper tank from the lower one along the vines, using a golden bow. This must be done before receiving the key to the upper tanks, i.e. until Dooley is freed from the cage, otherwise the trophy will not count
