I think the 1k tie bets are only in the VIP? I have issues with War, but got this after two or three hands in the VIP table with 1k on tie.

1k tie bets are available outside of VIP. I completed this on the normal tables, betting 1k on the tie.

silly ? how do you get a tie ? me and the dealer have the same cards but it is only giving me 1k back if i surrender or go to war

You have to place the bet on the “tie” circle marker

I may be mistaken but I believe on the main floor you have a max bet of $2000 per time you get to bet, basically per game of war, meaning if you bet the minimum possible on the "ante" (I think it's called the ante- not sure lol) then that leaves you the remainder of your $2000 total available to put in the "Tie" bet area.

EXAMPLE: If you bet $50 on the ante, you can then place up to $1950 on tie. But, like others mentioned tie pays out 10 :1 so since it has to be done in 1 sitting the quickest way without going overboard & losing more than necessary when you don't get a tie is to bet $1000 on the tie every time.
