You have to get a pair of aces in your hand and win, no matter how (everyone else folds, win at the end of the hand, etc.) You can go all in and hope all the other players fold and that works.
It has to be in a tournament (free or not). Ring poker doesn't work (at least, for me).
What I did was grab a buddy and get in the same tournament. We played together to eliminate the other four players and then the small blind would always fold until one of us got the pair in hands. Hands would be super fast with always one player folding and trading small blinds endures you can stay for a while. Just make sure to even the chips for both players as the blinds can get big (32k/64k).

It's worth noting that a pair is still a pair & your opponents can still have better hands, regardless, it's worth playing the hand to the end in the hopes you'll scoop up the win.
