You will need to go to a wreck, click 
and go to any Wreck. When you will be aboard it, you will have some little alien to kill to clear the ship.
After killing them all, equip a combinaison, go near the Life Support (or any sytem) on the other ship and make a save.
Salvage it 1 time, load your save and repeat 25 times.
*The progress is hidden and it count only by loading up or by salvaging 25 different wreck.*
