How to unlock the Reach For The Sky achievement in The Gardens Between - Definitive Guide

I found the description of where to go in the Walkthrough to be slightly confusing, so adding this solution as a bit of an extra. The text below is copied from the Walkthrough with a couple changes because there is a quicker way and an easier explanation.

World 7-3
As the level starts, you'll get an orb from an orb flower coming down a waterfall. Progress onwards to the right, and put the lantern on the first box you see.
Walk across the cloud bridge to the purple windchime, and interact with it.
Rewind time, collect the lit lantern and move forwards to have the orb taken from you, and then continue across the cloud bridge, this time with an unlit lantern.
You will gain a second orb. Use it on the light bridge, and continue on.
Move to the windchime with the boy and interact with it. Use the girl to get the orb.
Interact with the windchime again. This will close the orb flower.
Move forwards, and have the girl place the orb on the box directly above the navy mug-shaped object.
Go across the cloud bridge.
Move up to the pedestal right underneath the huge telescope.
Using the pedestal underneath the telescope, adjust the landscape so that the moon is directly above the telescope and slightly to the right to remove the light orb from the lantern, like in the picture below:

Image 1

Using the pedestal move the moon so it's directly in line with the telescope. You should see a white 'light switch' hanging from the sky.
Move forward and interact with the light switch. The moon will turn into a light orb.
Move all the way up to the top to the pedestal under the telescope. Move the moon all the way to the left that it will go; the position in the picture below:

Rewind time to get the unlit lantern from the box, and move back across the cloud bridge up to the pedestal.
Just before climbing the ladder (as the boy grabs it), you'll be able to grab the moon into your lantern by positioning the girl in front of the moon, like in the picture below:

Thanks! Much clearer than the walkthrough.

I agree. it doesn't say about when the boy is about to get on the ladder in the walkthrough. I wasn't going back far enough to grab the orb and was getting a little frustrated going back and forth above the ladder.

^same.
And walkthrough was terribly worded at times. Wish people took their time instead of rushing to be first to post a guide.

This helped tremendously thank you.

Glad this has helped and I am glad I'm not the only one that was failing from the walkthrough! I too was just not going back to the correct spot.

TempleOfFive: I believe the part you mentioned is spoke to here (you call it a box, but I think it is the lantern.):

Move forwards, and have the girl place the orb on the box directly above the navy mug-shaped object and go across the cloud bridge.
Move up to the pedestal right underneath the huge telescope.
Using the pedestal underneath the telescope, adjust the landscape so that the moon is directly above the telescope and slightly to the right to remove the light orb from the lantern, like in [this first picture]:

I've done this twice now and the achievement won't pop. Neither will the achievement for finishing the game.

Crap took me a while to get the last part done. Apparently you get the orb by staying under the ladder not on top of it. Small detail that changes everything 😀

Unless i'm mistaken, both you and the person that posted the Walkthrough didn't mention that you have to adjust the telescope so the orb gets taken from the box, otherwise when you go back over the bridge in the last step it still has the orb in it and you can't cross. That's what was happening to me, luckily I saw the black hole thing and aligned them up. Thanks for clarifying what you did though cause I was really stuck.

Ok,this is so weird because I actually managed to get the light removed but I too noticed it wasn't mentioned in the WT so when I came here & saw your comment above I went looking thinking I might have somehow missed it but as you can see below that exact part is missing, so really weird but hey anyonr who comes here should figure it out so thanks for putting up this guide 👍😊🖒

This achievement is unlocked in the seventh World in the third level.

This one is tricky and I suggest watching the video walkthrough linked in this guide to get it.

You'll have to manipulate time so the moon is accessible to the girl and the lantern.

Story related, cannot be missed.

This trophy is story related and unlocks during Level 7-3. On the final puzzle of this level, you'll need to have Arina hold the lantern over the moon by stand in front of it. If you have Arina stayed there for a few seconds, the lantern will capture the moon right out of the sky and into the lantern for light, which will unlock the trophy.
