How to unlock the Scratch Golfer achievement in The Golf Club 2019 - Definitive Guide

Completing rounds will allow you to earn a handicap. Performing well enough to earn a 0 should come within the first few rounds if you stay at/under par. Difficulty does not affect achievements, so play on very easy if you're having trouble. Keep in mind you'll need to earn a handicap of 10 for another achievement.

@HabitualNewt in golf a higher handicap (positive number) represents you are playing well, scoring under par. The idea is that someone who consistently finished 10 under par would earn a +10 handicap, resulting in competing golfers having a "fairer" chance of victory.

So no, you should aim to play well and scare as far below par as possible every match before you earn the +10. I had a +11.5 handicap by the time I finished the first PGA season.
