How to unlock the I'll Take That… achievement in The Golf Club - Definitive Guide
I just posted a 55(+19) on the 9 hole "two rivers golf club" course so add "melts123" as a friend, play the aforementioned course and you'll be able to beat me easily and quickly.

I have a couple of friends playing the game but they are all way out of my league. So, pick a course, at the "Select Rivals" menu press until the "Global (Recent)" list shows. Find the player with the highest score and make that gamer your friend. After you have added that gamer to your friendslist, you need to restart the game.
Pick the same course again, the gamers score will now show in the "Friends (Recent)" list, add the score as a selected rival and tee off.

If none of your friends play the game then you can add anyone you like as a friend first in the Friends app - as long as they have played a round it will show in the game their score before you start (so you know how hard it will be).

Yea I just added him then loaded the game up and his scores or my friends scores are not showing up. I think it has to do with the amount of friends u have on your friend list as I have 140 and there not showing

You can try to beat a friends' record legitimately. You can go into the Global Users menu and add a bunch of people to your list and try to beat someone randomly, or look for someone who has posted a terrible score on a 9 hole course. You can boost with a buddy. The choice is yours.
