This will cost $1,850 total, but don't worry because you can make a save at your bed at home before buying them all from Douglas McAvoy at the workshop on the right of the road heading towards town from your house, then reload your save when the achievement pops. This works for the garden work achievement as well. Happy Hunting!

If you select “let’s chat” he gives you a mission to collect some material to unlock house renovations, I thinks it’s a few lumps bronze and iron, and glass beads. I’m not sure if you have to be at a certain point in the story but you’ll know he has a mission for you if there’s a “!” in front of his name when you’re standing near him.
