The Good Life

The easiest way to get the time to pass faster is to book a room for 3 nights at Downer's hotel, next to the bar. It's a bit pricey (105£ with maximum hygiene, 35£ a single night) but it's closer than Naomi's house for the grindy achievements (brushing the sheep, drinking game).

One month is 2 moon cycles, or 4 weeks, so one year is 12x2 = 24 moon cycles.
One year is 336 days.

Note: The game starts on the day before the full moon, so you will get the achievement on the day before the full moon.

For efficiency and logical purposes, this should be one of the last achievements in the game after you grinded all the other achievements. So don't worry if you are not even close to one year after you get the other achievements.

How to get this:
Step 1: Go to Mushroom & Evans and go to the pie menu.

Step 2: Buy a pie that has the green perk Hunger-B-Gon (L).

• Cottage Pie (cheapest)

• Stargazy Pie

• Creamy Salmon Pie

• Deluxe Seafood & Asparagus Pie

This will make your hunger completely stop for 15 minutes in the real world. Only need to buy one; they don't stack.

Step 3: Go back home and to your bed, (this is the quickest place to do it).

Step 4: Sleep for 9 hours, once you wake up, immediately sleep for another 9 hours.

Step 5: Repeatedly sleep for as long as needed, (shouldn't be more than a few hours depending on how much you have left). When the Hunger-B-Gon is finished, go back to Mushroom & Evans and buy another of the same pie and repeat.

P.S. You will be inconvenienced by the full moon/morning cut scene 6 times each cycle.
