Here is my 100% Achievement guide for The Great Perhaps.
This is story related and cannot be missed.
You come up to a big Colosseum of sorts and in the middle of this is a lantern you need to pick up.
This is your friend for the entire game as you can go into the past and the future.
Press & hold
to go into the future or the past (You can tell which is the future as it is bleak and dreary, and the past is full of life and people).
Also by pressing just once, you can actually see in the future or past without actually going there, this is good as you can avoid enemies etc this way.
