Here is my 100% Achievement guide for The Great Perhaps.
Once you are on the rooftops, you will come across a man on a building edge upset that his book hasnt worked out and he is going to end it all.
Talk to him, then climb back up the ladder you were on, go to the left and down the next ladder, left again until you see the only door you can enter.
Go into the future and head all the way to the right in this room where you find the book.
Go back to him and talk to him to unlock this achievement.
Go to 18:55 to see how and where this unlocks.

As you make your way across the rooftops, phasing in and out, you'll come to a man on a ledge. After talking with him, backtrack to the left, up the ladder, then down the next one, into the door on the left. Phase into the future and pick up the book on the far right. Take the book to the man, and the achievement will pop.
