How to unlock the All In achievement in The Gunk - Definitive Guide
not a solution as much it is advice.
collect all the metal you see its the most needed resource(I finished the game with extra 61 organic and 77 alien) but I still need 16 metal.
fiber is the next most needed resource ( I finished with 1 extra)
also this might help

Screw this game. I made sure to be very careful and thorough when playing through the game normally, looking everywhere i could from start to chapter 8 for materials, and when i was short some i started relooking, and i kid you not, i spent over five hours inbetween reaching the final boss door and now just looking for materials, overall longer than it took me from start to reaching chapter 8. I have a fiber surplus of 17, and an alien surplus of 42, but i'm 6 organics short and 7 metal short, and i'm almost positive i've searched every non-glitched area in the game (Alien Quarry is apparently just glitched for everyone to never be able to pass again, and i can't seem to go backwords from 'the old city' either.
It feels pretty terrible to abandon a game when i'm only missing one achievement that i'm 93% done with, after 11 consecutive hours of playtime with at least 5.5 of which just being running through the same empty levels looking for 13 materials, i cna't stomach this anymore. This game is pretty poorly designed, and i can't help but believe that the person who designed the entire game and the person who added this one achievement are two different people, otherwise that person had next to no experience designing games. It take well over an hour to run through the entire game, and with no minimap, counters, or radar of any sort it's pretty terrible to have to search for this stuff. Would it really have killed the flow of the game to put in a small counter at each teleport area saying how many mats of each type out of how many you had? I don't think so.

Big shout out to DemonSlayer050's comment. I was short 10-20 of each resource and just doing the run from the campsite to the Alien Ruin teleporter (via Fungal Jungle) got me all the necessary resources

This is probably not the solution you are looking for but it can still possibly help you. For crafting all upgrades you have to find nearly all resources in the game and you have to scan 54/58 objects to obtain the "blueprints" for the upgrades. To find all these things can be sometimes difficulty.
I have created a video which show you from start to the end of the game all scans, all resources (enough to craft all upgrades. At the end I have 25 Organic, 29 Metal, 55 Fiber and 77 Alien resources more as needed) and all missable achievements.
If you have any question, ask :)

There are 16 upgrades to craft in the game; however, they are not available immediately. The ability to purchase upgrades unlocks based on how many scannable objects you find (See Space Archaeologists (50G)). You will need to scan 54 of the games 58 scannable objects to unlock every upgrade avaialble to purchase.
Each upgrade requires you to return to your campsite and access your workbench. They also require materials to purchase them (Organic, Metal, Alien, and Fiber). The Organic, Metal, and Fiber materials can be found in various plants in the environment. Throughout the game, make sure to search every nook and cranny to find hidden materials and loot caves. The game offers a surplus of these materials, so you don't need to entirely scoure the map, but you will still need to be persceptive as you progress through each area. The Alien material is dropped by enemies you defeat.

at the last level, you collect the last ingredients. (There will be enough of them there) Before the final boss there will be a teleport to the camp, no need to backtrack back to the camp through the entire tower.
After the achievement I still have 20204050 regs left.
So don't worry too much.

Before the final boss, there was 24 metal missing for the final upgrade. I had to run around the locations and find the missing ingredients. Therefore, during the passage, try to examine every corner. By the way, even after beating the game, you can load a save with a save before the final boss and finish off the achievement if something happens.

I didn’t have enough resources for exactly 1 improvement, and if all sorts of plants were quickly found by rerunning the first location, then I had to run around with metal. And then I found that when we clear the tower, 3 piles of metal open on it - 2 along the length and 1 at the bottom, from where we will go down. This really helped me a lot.
