As ULTIMATE le0 129 says, you do get this as part of the story but here's some detail on what to expect:
The 'act' starts with a run up a ramp where you simply Right Punch the bad guys. Very easy. When Big Oil appears it switches to a stage with Gunstringer on the left and Big Oil on the right - very 2D. You can move GS around but only in the bounds of the stage.
Big oil has a little mechanical man inside him. When his belly opens lock on and fire and keep doing it until it closes. Just watch for the belly opening.
He moves about but is fairly easy to avoid. He also fires oil streams and later blobs and again you should be able to miss these - in fact if you stay near the top you should miss most of them.
He also fires spear (arrows?) up in the air, again easy to miss but these then come down like a fence with a gap in the middle of the stage you need to be in to avoid damage.
After a time you'll get the chance to thump him by crashing into him. Then a bit more dodging and shooting and you should finish him off quite easily. Got a Gold medal on this and if you have not picked one up already that is another achievement.

This achievement is story line related. It unlocks at the end of the fifth Act. You cannot miss it. Just play through and every act you will also receive another achievement
