How to unlock the Junky achievement in The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing - Definitive Guide

You can get this on the map Dreadworks as well as The Rookery.

Throughout the maps are containers that look like dumpsters, simply search through 20 of them to complete the achievement, there are more than enough to satisfy it, especially if you are an explorer like me!

Achievement is buggy!
I've searched over 30 containers (with stuff in it) and over 30 without anything inside.
The achievement popped, but way past the 20...

Yeah, this whole game seems buggy to some people, I got mine at 20 however. Weird...Anyway, glad my guide helped.smile

Stuck in 95% for eternity. More than 100 opened and the last one is not count by XBO (in the game i already have the achievement). Hope they fix it in the update with "Unfulmigator"

I think this achievement is glithed I'm stuck at 95% any hints to fix that

The achievements in this series can be glitchy, if you have opened around 20 and it's still not unlocking, try opening more and see what happens, one gamer finally unlocked it around 30 or so. If not, I am unable to help you, sorry.

I have opened close to about 100 and still nothing but thanks for the information of this series being glitchy

Yep. Buggy. When I got the in-game tracker up to 30, which gave a message that I earned an achievement, the actual tracker was at 65%. I visited the official club and came back to the game and it went up to 95%. Unfortunately after that it stayed there no matter how many additional containers I opened. (For further context, I was on a Series X -- I have not tested this on an xbox one to see if the issue persists)

Found a way to get the achievement. If someone's achievement is stuck at 90-95%, the only way to achieve the achievement is to delete ALL saved data and start the game again, first disconnect the XBOX from the Internet. The tracker will work again.
However, if you plan to transfer your character to Van Helsing 2, it's better to do it right away, as your character will disappear forever.
