Warning: I don't know why, but occasionally events in the game will be different (i.e. the options you get in your office as to what to do, when talking to Dahlia upon meeting her, or when you enter the pizza joint). Best thing I can say is if you don't get the options below restart and try again.

In a single playthrough, you need to talk about being vegan to three different people. The easiest way to do so is as follows:
1) the stranger on the bus to Innsmouth
2) order the vegetarian burger at Joe's Pizza and Burgers
3) at dinner, tell Dahlia you're vegan
You can also talk to Gary about your veganism, as well as the Yith, but those are more difficult/take longer to weave into a single playthrough.
