Find all of Tesla's diaries
You can find these in any order. It will show a diary icon the first time you examine one. The entry will always be the next one chronologically. You can keep track of these in the theater. His diary entries will be in a book to your left.
1) Outside the house, behind the tower, on the back left of the generator
2) Library, on the table across from stairwell
3) Pantry, all the way back right on the barrel
4) Past the piano room to the bedroom with two beds, leaning up against a chest on the left side of the room
5) Sitting area next to Vandenberg's room, on a chair
6) Bedroom at the end of the hall above the library stairs, in the closet on the left, diary is on the dresser next to the white chest
7) Tesla's office, to the left of the door to the workshop, sitting on a canister
8) Workshop area next to Tesla's office, back of the room, on a desk to the left
9) In the telescope room, on the floor to the right of the telescope
10) In the attic, under the stairs to the roof, on a crate
11) Entering the secret workshop from the library, to the right of the Tesla coil, on a green crate next to the control panel
12) Before entering the time machine room, to the left of the entrance on a box
13) Enter the secret room near the boarded up door, on your left on a shelf

Tesla's diaries, as outlined by a prior trophy, allow you to get more of an idea into the inventor's thoughts and plans prior to his death. You need one for one trophy, while gathering all thirteen give you further depth into the story and this trophy. This is a location-based list of the diaries. If you'd like to check the progress on this collectible series, go to the timeline screen and check up on the top screen. Furthermore, you can read these outside of the game by going to the Theater.
~First Floor~
#1: To the far east of the house, near the strange tower. If you go behind it to the north and turn around, you will see a journal near the generator.
#2: In the library. If you stand on the stairs and turn immediately around, it will be on its own near a collection of other books.
#3: In the pantry connecting to the kitchen. It will be found in the far back on top of a barrel.
#4: On the west side of the house, in the guest bedroom. It will be leaning against a chest on the west side of the room (near the Tesla photograph).
#5: The secret room, the first of two entrances to the secret workshop, which is revealed primarily by Flora on the west side of the mansion. Upon entering, it will be on a shelf to the left.
~Second Floor~
#6: Outside Vandenberg's room. There is a small sitting area for reading and there will be a diary on the chair.
#7: Tesla's bedroom, in a closet. The bedroom is connected to the second floor above the library or connected to the office. There are two closets here. One of them has a white chest and the diary beside it.
#8: Tesla's office. If entering from the bedroom, it will be immediately on the left near the workshop door.
#9: Tesla's workshop. In the back of the workshop, the diary will be on a desk to your immediately left.
#10: Observatory. On the other side of the telescope, on the floor, is the diary for this room.
~Et Cetera~
#11: In the attic. When you enter the attic, go towards the back of the room and then turn around. Under the stairs leading up to the roof, there will be a crate with the diary on it.
#12: The secret workshop. Near the Tesla coil, there is a green crate near the control panel where you can find this diary.
#13: Tesla's Machine room. Prior to reaching the actual monolith of the Tesla Machine, you will find a small alcove with a computer. In this alcove, you can find the last diary.
