The easiest way to get this achievement is so start a game with 6 players and 1 audience member. You might be able to do it with 5 + 1, but it's a guarantee with 6 + 1.

And... that's it. Just let the game idle and don't touch anything and the audience member will win by default! The game takes about 15 minutes to complete with no input from any player. Make sure you have extended timers OFF otherwise it takes closer to 20 minutes!

you can combine this with MasterDater if the audience member gets a date each night and also wins the game.

Just a heads up: This won't work if Mother is in the game. This method relies on every character losing a heart each turn for not getting dates (the audience doesn't lose hearts). She generates a heart each turn her child doesn't get a date, so she will end the game with 0, and tie with the audience.

Mother was the audience player in my game so @Cornerscout's comment is 85.7% accurate.

I can't seem to get an audience member into the game. When am I supposed to connect them? The walkthrough says after the game starts but it just says "error connecting to room". I didn't have an issue connecting an audience in Fibbage.

Did it your way the first time, no achievement
Then did it whilst going for MasterDater and still nothing

Edit: MasterDater popped in the games main menu but this one still hasnt.
Edit2: Now it popped... only a taaaaad late

Thanks for the heads up @ClockKingRM. I had the same issue. That is just stupid to put allow audience in the settings.

The Guide SHOULD of put that in the Game's intro.
