How to unlock the The Wheel: The Big Score achievement in The Jackbox Party Pack 8 - Definitive Guide
This PITA has a lot of chance. You have to find a way to get the center of the wheel worth the most before any player gets 20,000 points.
First of all, play with 8 screens open if you can. Second, try to get as few points as you can through the first two rounds, then try for this in the THIRD round. It's impossible to get it in the first round. There are a number of trivia rounds. Play them like this, spreading the points to the player in last place:
When there is a list (Ex: Which of these are types of knots?), one of three things will happen:
1: You look up the answers so that EVERYONE gets NONE of them correct (every wrong answer is selected and every right answer is not), then everyone gets no points.
2: All will tie and get 3000 points.
3: One will win 3000, and the rest 1500. This is the best call, because if you have any correct, all will tie at 3000.
Have one player choose a correct answer, and then everyone press submit.
When there is a number question (How many pounds is a shot put?), have one person press 1, and the rest press 0. One will get 3000, everyone else will get 1500.
When there is a matching question (Match the two celebrities who are related), let the clock tick down. No one gets any points.
When there is a That or This, don't answer any questions. No one will get any points.
When there is an open ended question (What am I thinking?), don't answer. No one will get any points.
The third question is a Power Slice question, so one person will have a better chance of getting points. It's all chance. Players can still get points during this question, so still try to get it wrong.
Spinning the wheel:
In the first two rounds, let the timer run out without putting ANY slices on the board. Then spin. This is all chance.
In the third round, have each person put ALL of their slices on one space, and have no one overlap. Three slices = 2.5x, so if the wheel is at 4000+ and lands on someone with three slices, this will (FINALLY) pop. The round begins with the center at 3000, so hope that you can make it through a few spins without hitting a multiplier.
If someone hits 20,000, there's still a chance if they miss the winning slice. The chances of winning the first time are 1/3, and the second time is 2/3, so hope that you hit those skulls!
Best of luck!

Great guide, got this on my 2nd try following this. When I did, the middle thing was actually worth over 10000 points, and I got a 2x multiplier for a total of over 20,000. :)
