How to unlock the Weapons Drawn: Elementary achievement in The Jackbox Party Pack 8 - Definitive Guide

Start a four player game, then name your players something memorable like One, Two, Three, and Four.

When drawing your weapons, it makes it easy to identify each player if you move the letter out of the way and draw a prominent number or symbol that easily identifies the killer. Similarly, name your accomplice something that is easily traced to a specific killer. In my case, I put the corresponding number in the corner of the drawing and named the accomplice the same as the player's name.

In each case voting round, choose cases that allow you to skip One and Two as much as possible. It's okay if you have to choose one of them as eventually each player will get chosen, but that round won't count against you. In the rounds where there are fewer murders, try to use Three and Four to kill instead of One and Two.

When each murder comes up, match the number or symbol to the player and have each non-killer vote for that player as the killer. Make sure to look at the TV screen and match the appropriate weapon, because the names may cause confusion.

Play through the game, answering every case vote accurately for all players. After the winner is declared at the end of the game, the achievement will pop.

The other solution kind of made it sound like if you ever chose a drawing where someone was the murderer and they then had to choose a wrong answer because they couldn't choose themselves, that they'd be disqualified for the achievement, and after having everyone chosen at least once I was all set to go back in and try to have one player never end up killing anyone, but I actually got the achievement despite everyone having to choose incorrectly when they were the murderer.

This leads me to believe that the desription would more accurately be, "At least one detective got every case right in which the correct option was actually selectable". And this does make logical sense as otherwise the achievement would require you to also get lucky and never have your drawing picked. If this proves incorrect for you please comment that so that I can delete the solution, or at least edit it to say it's finnicky, but it definitely worked for me.
