How to unlock the Unnamed Challenger achievement in THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH - Definitive Guide
A guide for people who don't really play King of Fighters or fighters in general! Before you do all of this, go to the game settings and change everything to your favor; 1P special gauge set at maximum, 1P defense at max, etc.
Creating a macro:
1. Go into Practice mode (to create a macro for a MAX2 move).
2. Pick Terry. Opponent doesn't matter.
3. Go to Command, click EDIT, delete what's there (Y) and enter your character's MAX2 move (check the inputs under "SKILL"). Terry's macro is: D, DF, F, D, DF, S=(F+LP+SP)
4. Exit Command menu and set life to 1P-RED, then hit Resume Game. When you hold LT, you should now see Terry's eyes flash on the screen and then he lets loose on a combo.
Using the macro:
5. Go to Help & Options > Settings > Battle Setting and change CPU-Level to 1, Play time to infinity, Single round to 1, Power gauge 1P to MAX and then save and exit.
6. Now just leave Practice mode and enter Arcade mode, team play. Pick Terry as your first character.
7. Let the first opponent beat you down until you have 3 bars left. Do the same to him/her, since your MAX2 move needs to defeat them.
8. Now hold LT within range and watch Terry kick some ass.
9. Repeat for the next opponent.
10. Then just play normally until Nameless shows up. He appears as a new challenger after the fourth team fight, meaning you have to defeat 12 opponents to make him appear.
Don't worry if you can't beat the second opponent with the little life Terry has left, since you'll have to fight four teams to make Nameless appear anyway and Terry will have full life again each time you face a new team. You only need two MAX2 finishes out of the 12 fights.
You have to beat Nameless to make the achievement pop, and it only does so after you've picked characters for the next match.

Good solution Drog, it's worth noting that if you quit out after defeating him, even though you got the achievement you don't unlock the character which is useful for your other solution Solution for The King of Fighters In The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match

To fight Nameless, you have to play in Team/Solo and use a MAX 2 to finish off at least two opponents. Nameless will encounter you after several matches, then beat him and this achievement will unlock.
MAX 2's require your character to have at least 3 super bars and orange health (less than half). You can actually cheat this a bit by going to Options and setting your bar to Inifinite before you start, as that doesn't affect the achievement.
