If you go in to the customization menu you can simply change 1 colour (or more if you want) on 10 characters. Make sure to save the changes so it will count that you did it.

Easy achievement that took under 5 minutes to unlock.

*The other solution above is sufficiently explanatory but here is another, to add context for those who have never looked at the game before, and want to get this done ASAP.*

-

1. From the Main Menu go down and select CUSTOMIZE

2. Go down and select CHARACTER

3. Now select any character with A (cn_A) and then press A again to enter the color customization menu

4. Hit right on the analog stick or d-pad to change a color. Hit A to finish, and then go up on the analog stick an A again to save your changes.

5. Hit B again to return to the character menu.

6. Repeat this with 9 other characters-- the achievement will pop when exiting the Color menu on the final character

This is create 10 DIFFERENT characters in customize. And even then this is costume changes.

Go into customize and choose to change characters, choose 10 different characters, go to any of the color sets and change one color, backing out (make sure to save your changes, I believe that's required) and then do the same thing to 9 DIFFERENT characters. I stress that because each character has 5 different colors, changing all 5 only counts for a single character, not 5 different characters.

This should take a player less than 3 minutes.

To "create" 10 characters you must select Character under Customization from the main menu. Here you will be able to create multiple color palates for each character in the game. To unlock more colors and special items for certain character you must continue to use that character in various modes, once you have selected team 40 times they will have star show up next to their name indicating you have unlocked everything for them.

After you finish customizing a character press to confirm the changes and save it, do this for 10 characters and your trophy will unlock.

Go to the Customize - Character section from the main menu and change at least one detail of 10 characters.
