Hi !
For this achievement,you first need to:
- Save the Guards (story related)
- Talk to them in the Castle.You'll have the quest for finding Pistola.
- Bring Pistola to the guards (he's located to the left of your house,in the 1st zone).You'll unlock:
The Good Boy Pistola achievement in The Knight Witch worth 24 pointsFind Pistola and bring him to the Castle.
Now,progress into the game until
Go back to the castle and use this new power on Pistola.You'll now be able to restart all Ambushes to get the Sun and Moon medals without the stress of missing them !

FYI, the cat upgrade comes later than that. It's entirely unmissable and very obvious. It's early in the mission that makes you return to the Forge Fields.

Thanks for the info.I wasn't so sure about the upgrade.
I know it's not missable,but it's good to know that you don't have to get the medals at your 1st battle (as it's not explained at all in the game).
