For anyone wanting both achievements: when you are at the end of the road (choice mentioned above) you have last chance to save (and send save to cloud). If you let others deal with the problem, then there is only a short cutscene and after it you can delete local save and should be able to continue with the second route.

I'm not sure if there was an update to the game, and I used the cloud save swapping to get the alternate ending, but it seems you can load into the 100% save, which is just before the end of no return point. So not really missable. But someone should corroborate to be safe.
