This boss is an optional boss but it does block some important items. You can fight this boss at the bottom of the frozen pass in the southern part of the Damned Ruins of Osseus Fortress. There is an area called Moonshade Lake. Beating this boss will lead you to Esk's Right Eye later in the game and it leads to a charm which will increase certain stats when equipped. You can have three charms equipped at one time. The boss also drops a weapon the Illygarth Boreal Blade.
